Why is it that some think they have a better way?
The greatest example of spreading the Gospel was shown to us by Jesus and the Apostles.
It worked for them, it still works for us.

When I think of drama I think of entertainment or pretending.
I do not believe we are to entertain or pretend when we present the Gospel.
The Gospel is to reach the spirit of man, not the flesh.
I know, I am old fashion, but I see no reason to change what has worked for 2000 years.

I don't know... My father, years ago, took over a Passion play. It was put on by the youth group. It was quite a large group and they even traveled to other churches through the Easter season. A set of twins, young guys, were into drugs and headed down a bad path. They took part in the play and got saved. Their parents came to my father after the play in tears and told him what the boys had been into. Others were saved because of the play too. So I would say that drama can be used. Music also is a great tool to bring people to the Lord.

I'm too far away, but I think it's a good idea,
as long as the drama has a clear message (so that the ones watching know it is the gospel and not just entertainment) :)

Isn't this what goes on in the Bible Discussion Forum? Well, spreading something, anyway.

I believe, if used properly, a big if, there is a world of tools at our disposal appropriate for presenting the things of God, including drama, music and other arts. Anything of truth, to the ends that God is presented, in Christ, is good. The trouble we have are various corruptions watering down or altering truth, truth used to further some worldly "church" organization or money making scheme, misrepresenting the gospel a problem, but not the general art form, itself, the problem, not the tool, but whose hand it's in.

I think its a good idea. I should think it would probably appeal more to young people than ancient relics like myself lol
