[h=3]McDonald's customer accused of putting soda in water cup charged with robbery[/h]

A McDonald's customer in Arkansas accused of emptying his cup of water and filling it with soda now faces a robbery charge, police said Tuesday. The restaurant manager said the suspect was one of three people who asked for water at the drive-thru window in Springdale. The customers parked and walked into the store before dumping out the water and pouring soda into the cups, KHBS/KHOG-TV reports. The manager spotted the three and told them to return the soda. Only 18-year-old Cody Morris refused, police say. The manager even ran out and tried to block Morris' car from leaving, but the suspect reportedly drove his vehicle in reverse and hit the worker twice before speeding away. Police arrested ...Read more

My Grandson-in-law manages a McDonald's. He has customers that come in, buy a small soda (free refills), and spend the day in the corner booth using McDonald's free WIFI. He said that sometimes he feels like tossing them out, but it's not worth the effort. He said that the soda in the ice cup patrons are usually kids after school. He wondered why a manager would chase someone over a cup of ice and a few ounces of soda. He minimizes his loss by putting a cleanup person around the dispensers about the time the after school kids arrive.

I mean, ok, let's be real. That 6 ounces of soda or whatever is like what....a dollar??? That's crazy. And if it was a child that did this I would be mad at McDonalds. Yes the kid is being stupid, but they are a minor and minors do dumb things. This would be more an indiscretion than a real robbery.

But seriously McDonalds is terrifying. They have veggie lybal laws, and if you are someone who has some say in the entertainment industry, ect, they can sue you if you are like "Nah I don't eat there they have unhealthy ect ect ect."

You and your cousin were thieves. You committed petty larceny each time you stole soda from those businesses. When you say they "didn't really seem to care", what you mean to say is that they didn't catch you in the act. You weren't stealing it when the manager was standing nearby.

You can't be blamed for not knowing the law, or can you. I forgot, that is what unbelievers will say during their judgment.

Anyway, the crime was larceny, or petty theft, not robbery. That is, until the suspect used his vehicle as a weapon. Robbery is a theft with the use of force or threat of force. So this was a minor offense until the adult, not child, escalated the matter.

I've watched punks walk into fast food restaurants and fill giant cups full of soda many times. I always step in and tell them they are stealing and alert the manager. It always ends the same way. They throw the soda on me and threaten to hurt me. Then they walk out calling me a faggot or some other rude name. These are people who are predators and parasites, always prowling and looking for opportunities to take something that doesn't belong to them. This 18-year-old has done a lot worse that steal soda. He is on a path to do a lot worse, and it will include acts of violence. I watched an interview a local tv news station had with a young man who was arrested after a good Samaritan tried to intervene on behalf of the guys girlfriend, who was being drug across a parking lot from a fast food restaurant. The man knocked down the good Samaritan and then ran him over with his vehicle. The victim was in critical condition for days and has permanent injuries. During his interview from jail, the suspect (a sociopath) stated the guy should have minded his own business, and if he did, he wouldn't have gotten hurt. He said the guy had plenty of room to get out of his way. A total scumbag with no remorse.

Don't be fooled into the Travon Martin defense that suggests the attacker was an innocent victim of over-zealous do-gooders. That he was a good kid who never got in trouble and was studying to go to college. Dig a little and you find out the opposite, that this kid is a ring-leader and always out looking to get into trouble.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that most folks didn't click on the "READ MORE" option?

Does it matter that the Manager GOT RUNDED OVER?
