[Warning.....this Article is bound to cause controversy........and it has a definite SLANT to it]

U.S.
[h=3]The Army is upset because a bunch of black women raised their fists in a photo[/h]

Excerpt revealing the SLANT........

West Point has gotten it terribly wrong here. They are blowing a picture out of proportion and instead of giving these cadets the benefit of the doubt, letting them celebrate the strength and unity that the academy fostered in them, they are being investigated. West Point is actually exhibiting the very implicit racism that lies at the center of the BLM movement. If this picture was full of white female cadets with raised fists, would there even be an investigation? Would those raised fists still mean support of BLM if they were covered in white skin instead of brown skin?

ANSWER: No, they wouldn't......however had they been 12 white women holding up Confederate Flags imagine the outcry from this Author and all the rest of the liberals?

Truth is.............there are Regulations regarding how a member of the US Military is to conduct themselves, regardless of race, creed, color, OR sex. Every person in the Military knows this, and accepts these Regulations when they "sign up."

I didn't read the article, but I read your personal commentary on the article. Which I would expect this kind of ignorance in this forum because it is so rampant here. The raising of the fists has nothing to do with the BLM movement or any organization at all for that matter. It's been around long before BLM since the civil rights movement as a symbol of black empowerment and being against racism. I've been in the military and I don't see why there would be an issue with a group of women raising their fists and taking a picture. Maybe I should read the article first, but based on your summary of the article, it seems they were simply being PUT IN CHECK by the racist powers that had the authority to GET THEM IN SOME TROUBLE. All they did was take a symbolic anti-racism picture. But . There are no military rules against this. I am a veteran. I should know.

YOU are simply spreading propoganda like the OTHER ahem. I'm not going to get myself banned. I know it was either u or someone else claiming they were going to adopt some black children. I'm not going to speak on this, i am just going to post a giant

SMH

I've been the military, I don't see an issue with black women raising their fists. It's just a symbolic ant-racism and black empowerment gesture. I don't remember any rules against this. Why don't u enlighten me.

I suppose its ok if they get in trouble for breaking the rules. But it sounds kind of ridiculous to put them under investigation. For what?

I think there are more pressing issues at hand like Islamic terrorism than a few black women raising their fists in a picture

This was on yesterday's episode of Inside Edition. They also showed photographs of white male soldiers holding their fists in the air, a gesture meaning Army Strong
