[h=3]Don't Go to Chick-Fil-A, Mayor De Blasio Tells New Yorkers

[/h]

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and other city officials are urging New Yorkers not to eat at Chick fil-A. The popular chicken restaurant is planning to open up a new location in Queens, its fourth to open in New York City. But the liberal mayor argued that the owners of Chick fil-A support groups that promote "hate" against gays. "Chick-fil-A is anti-LGBT," he said in a statement, according to the website DNAInfo. "This group imparts a strong anti-LGBT message by forcing their employees and volunteers to adhere to a policy that prohibits same-sex love. It is outrageous that Chick-fil-A is quietly spreading its message of hate by funding these types of organizations." He went on to call ...Read more

DeBlasio should be more concerned with the FBI investigating fund fraud and other money related allegations.
For that matter, from what I hear from someone who is a reliable source, him and his wife need to stop smoking pot at Gracie mansion every night.

Does anyone care what this corrupt politician has to say? I don't. The good news is we have a Chick-fil-A coming to our city, in the middle of being built now. I plan to support it fully, gettin my chicken fix. :) As my sister says shes "supporting the work of the Lord" buying Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby. Not sure her husband agrees though. :p

I could hardly believe how the homosexual attack on Chick-Fil-A backfired in their faces a few years ago. In our city, and in many others across the country on TV, there were lines of patrons waiting to get in to eat stretching for half a block, and lasting for days. I'll be thrilled if that same thing happens all over again.

I live an hour from the NYC and was thinking of deliberately visiting one the Chic Filets there.

DB has a bully pulpit. Will he give equal time to the other side? The Fairness Doctrine, remember?

My brother in law worked for them and they are a bunch of people filled with crap they are just like any other money hungry franchise owners. They are out for the buck and they do not care who they run over to get it. They are willing to do anything they can to get people to flock into their locations. I am just saying they are no different then any other place.

De Blasio also has no respect at all for police officers. I think that says a lot about what kind of person and leader he is.

Er, isn't the point of a business to make money? Is there a limit to what a business is suppose to make?

No that is not my point my point is that they are willing to throw brother Joe under the bus if it means they can make a few bucks and to me that is wrong. Do not go out and preach about being a Christian based corporation then go out and do non-Christian type acts is all I am saying. I do not care how much money they make I care about companies living up to the values they say they have....

And I know five people working for them... some for many years... and they say it is one of the best places they have ever worked. You might want to examine Joe's story a little closer.

Money hungry franchise owners? Good. I'll enjoy their company.

Being in administration for most of my career, let me ask this...

Is brother Joe's resume short and sweet with longevity in employment or is it a small novel with short employment and large gaps between jobs?

could just be the one location he worked for then I do not know. Either way It is all good Many places have no control over their every location.

I do not know I really do not care what they do as I have no family that works for them anymore. I was just saying that they are like many other places and are out for the money and will do what it takes to make it. I only go by what I have been told.

Well I think what people are pointing out is that one person you know isn't really enough proof to say anything about the company. You're making a blanket statement based on one persons opinion. Thats not really fair.

Going by what youve been told was where you went wrong! You took "offense by association" because brother was offended.
You made a blanket statement that was a gross misrepresentation of the company as a whole perhaps?

Come visit the one in East Norriton Pa. My youngest son just got a job there!
