Do you think there is, as some in politics state, a "war on women"?

If so, is it being properly identified and/or properly handled?

If not, what's being misconstrued?

Jesse Watters, who works for a major cable news channel, was in Miami asking people about the "war on women".

Because some of the women interviewed weren't dressed so modestly, I decided it was best to just put a link to the clip here rather than include the video. It's just under 5 minutes.

Globally? In certain parts of the world there is surely a war on women. In the Middle East where women are routinely abused and even murdered. In Africa, and in other countries as well.

As for here in the U.S., what is considered a war on women by the socialist liberals doesn't even begin to compare with the reality of what goes on in other parts of the world.

This phrase is simply a Political talking point to garner votes.

Now, is there yet inequality between women and men in the work place? Yes, to a degree, however it is far, far better than it once was. Still, it is a stretch (in my opinion) to call this a "war" on women.

I don't see it, but if the liberal educated PC centric media says its there, then it must be. I'm just a illiterate right leaning white middle aged male who loves God, so who am I to say.
Oh yes, I am referring to woman here in America.

Question is, what would make her feel as though someone(s) is waging a war against her?
She has lived in total faith that God will care for her. She has never been a "woe is me" person. She has dealt with every trial with confidence and has stood her grown. She will not back down when she is right.
To my knowledge, she has never felt threatened.
This is the most confident and joyful person I have ever known.

One reason that the "war on women" narrative is foolish is because in war, you have to define your enemy. Usually that's one group of people pitted against another group.

Men, on the whole, do not view women as their enemy. Sure, there are individual instances of men who think that they are superior to women and they look down on women and treat them accordingly, but that does not equate to systematic or widespread oppression.

There are going to be some people who are warring against women. In America? I think the "war on women" has had a huge switch, and now if anything, there's a war on MEN. Just my opinion :)

Me personally I think there is a war on manhood. But not in a discrimination type of way or violating men's rights. It's more of a brainwashing men through media and television to be more feminine and soft. In the old days men had no problem taking the leadership role in their marriage and their households. This is the biblical way of doing things. Now it's pretty much cliche' for men to joke about being scared of their wives, or being put on the couch or in the dog house if their wife get's mad at them. Men will playfully joke about how they fear their wives, etc etc. Their seems to have been a role reversal here in the US if you know what I mean. These days it is the societal norm for the woman to be the dominant person in a marriage or relationship. And I place part of the blame on media and television.

My theory is a part of the reason for this role reversal in American society is because media and televisoon tend to brainwash men into believing that the guy that sleeps with all the women and leads a promiscuous lifestyle is something to be admired and to aspire to be. This causes men to place too much value on getting in a woman's pants and causes men to almost worship the female genitalia. It makes men think that her vajayjay is a prize to be won over and they think getting sex from women is what makes you a man. I personally believe that this carries over into relationships. While women have been scientifically proven to have higher sex drives then men, men tend to be the ones that always want sex from the woman because they have been brainwashed by television and media to place much value on a woman's prized posession below the belt. The woman sees that the man will do anything for the v jay jay, and she often uses this as a way to controll him and have the upperhand in a relationship or marriage. When in reality women have higher sex drives than men.

Am I wrong about this? I'm not saying that I am better than these men. I am just saying that society has a way of brainwashing people and taking people away from doing things the biblical way, Which is the right way and the healthy way.

Also, to me Jesus was a picture of true masculinity that every man should aspire to be like. We need to raise our little boys in my opinion from the scriptures, not what society deems politically correct. To me the bible not only teaches us right from wrong, but teaches men how to be real men and women how to be real men. But I think even the church culture has become somewhat feminized and contributed to the feminization of Chrsitian men. My opinion is that when men go to church they want to learn something new, get practical advice, while many of these churches now days are preaching emotional feel good sermons, or false prosperity gospels. Often times in these churches there are very few men that choose to attend. And if they do it is because there wife dragged them there and they don't really want to be there. Then you have some churches that are filled with women and very few men, while the preacher is shouting a bunch of emotional mumbo jumbo getting the church into an emotional frenzy when the things they are shouting have no basis in scripture. Can anyone else identify with this?

And the thing is many men go to these feminized churches and think that's what being a christian is all about.

A+. 100%. :)

From a woman's perspective, it is a battle to let the men be a head of the household; I constantly have to think and consciously let them have that role. (and I'm not even married yet!). I once heard someone say: "if it is a man's greatest fault to not take the biblical position of headship, a woman's greatest fault is to fill it." I totally agree.

Liberals, can't get them to leave, can't war with them, gotta love them.
In fact, you know, that may be a question on the quiz to determine if we are getting in.

"Did you love the most hypocritical, most arrogant people you knew, and pray for them?"
Yes Lord, I loved all liberals, and tried to explain the gospels to them, even Hillary.
"Even her ?? Your in !"

There is no "war on women" in the sense that the Left would have us believe.

There is, however, a war on manhood and womanhood. Look no further than the recent bathroom issues for confirmation.

I actually read that feminists were trying to get a vague street harrassment law passed where if a man catcalls or approaches a woman in public he can get arrested for "street harrassment."

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe anyone should be allowed to HARRASS anyone. If a man tries to get a woman's phone number or whatever the case may be, if she declines he should leave her alone.

But these numbskull so called femenists, if they are even real femenists were trying to make it seem like giving a woman a compliment, or making any kind of attempt to get a phone number or a date is HARRASSMENT. I believe every man has a right to approach a woman he is attracted to. But if she declines he should definitely leave her alone.

I have no problem with outlawing the harrassment of other people. But they were taking it too far.

If the law would have gotten passed then simply complimenting a woman or attempting to get her phone number could get you arrested.

Satan hates women. The war on women in any of its formats comes from the devil. I believe that feminism damages women and men and the relationships therein. I think that the beginning goals and vision of feminists were right on the mark, but they went too far. If you want to see the true war on women, just look at the Bible and see how much the devil hates women.

And the devil will often place a righteous or moral facade around whatever he is doing. Often what looks like a cute teddy bear on the outside is rotten on the inside. The devil often comes disguised as an angel. Same goes for humans. That's why I tend to not look at peoples outward appearances as who they are. Most people in society tend to wear masks when they go out in public. Not a literal mask, but they present theirselve's to the public how they want to be seen.
