Why we MUST quit the EU, by David Cameron's guru Steve Hilton | Daily Mail Online

Why we MUST quit the EU, by Cameron's guru: Friend and strategist Steve Hilton breaks
ranks on Brexit to say Britain will be 'literally ungovernable' unless we take back power
from the self-serving elite.

  • Former key adviser to David Cameron defies him a month before the vote
  • Says Britain is 'ungovernable' after being 'corruptly captured' by the EU
  • Believes EU will take revenge on Britain for vote and impose new diktats
  • Said their refusal to grant 'modest' demands shows no will for reform
  • See more news on the EU referendum at www.dailymail.co.uk/EUref

How the EU makes Britain IMPOSSIBLE to govern: With devastating logic, based on his years at the heart
of power, the PM's former policy guru makes an explosive intervention in the Brexit debate - and argues we simply HAVE to leave

Brussels: Britain should build MORE HOUSES to cope with migrant influx | UK | News | Daily Express

Brussels ORDERS Britain to build MORE houses to cope with influx of EU migrants

A new European Commission report warns the UK is heading for an "acute" housing crisis caused
by a population boom.

At least 220,000 houses need to be built every year to keep up with demand from those including
European migrants, it adds.

The UK population is expected to soar from 63 million to 76 million over the next generation, according
to recent Government data.

I am going to put on my tinfoil hat and say the popular vote is there but it will be rigged somehow at the end of the day.

Hi, just posting a few bits on here. I don't know what you all think
or whether you are interested or not.

I wanted to post some for and some against material, though to be honest it
is far easier to find the leave Europe material, than the remain material.

I for one am totally confused, the stay camp says the sky will come crashing
down financially if we leave.

The leave camp says financial it things won't be that bad I we will save billions
in benefits, NHS, housing, school etc.

It really does seem very split at the moment with politicians, country leaders
and companies on both sides of the debate.

Brussels does seem to have more and more power these days and they are not
elected by the people.

What I am interested in.....is how did you guys let London get so bad? Like, if that would happen here there would literally be blood in the streets. You guys are better off than Germany and France I suppose but from across the pond, I just look at Europe in total shock. I have talked to a lot of people from Europe that share my point of view on things and a few who haven't but all they say is catch phrases like "because we aren't xenophobes". Thoughts? I really don't understand the whole European Pro open boarders mentality

I have very strong feelings on this issue...

1, I don't care if the economy takes a temporary knock - even though I don't believe it will. What I passionately care about is democracy and EU leaders are not elected but chosen. Only the British care about Britain and we absolutely MUST protect our own borders, we cannot tolerate Europe dictating our laws to us or telling us how many "refugees" must populate our small island or that we can't fish in our own waters but must buy from the Spanish who CAN fish from our waters!

2, Let us not forget that the EU was sold to us back in the 70's as a trading agreement. We were never told sovereignty would be an issue - there is no way we would have tolerated that!

3, Anything Mr Obama says to do - do the exact opposite and you can't go wrong!

Most people seem to think the same.

Its not just the displaced people affected by war, it's citizens from the various European
countries who come for a better life, jobs, free medical care etc.

At the moment no one can be refused entry from an EU country, even if they have
no job. In that respect no EU country has control over its own borders any more, but
some countries are more attractive than others.

On the other hand if we leave the EU, others are saying there will be a skills
shortage and there will also be no one to do the low paid back breaking jobs.
But there again I think the UK people expect to be paid at least the minimum wage
but some from the EU countries just take any job even if they are being taken advantage
of by unscrupulous employers.

I'm inclined to side with the leave camp.

They are looking currently at Turkey joining the EU. If that happens
we will have no control over terrorists coming into Europe, they would just need a
Turkish passport then hop anywhere they like. They would only need to wave an
EU passport and that's about it.

That's just one of the many issues with border control.
I think as a country we need to be accountable for ourselves for better or worse.
Currently more and more EU legislation is getting in the way of how we can govern
ourselves.

We have the same problems here with PC but the pushback is much tougher than over there I think. They already jumped the shark here pretty bad though. I think it already peaked. The fact that we are armed forces the open boarder elements to move slower. I know you guys don't have firearms but I still expected you guys to fight over London, but nope.

They have us fighting over where to use the bathroom right now so I suppose we shouldn't get too cocky.

Turkey does not meet the standards to enter the EU so by law theres no way he cab enter.
I meet many refugees and most of them are anything but people that seen war and need help. Right opposite usually.
We have christians coming from Iran and only part of their family are allowed to come in but they let hundreds and thousands of young men from places (even no war zones like tunesia,albania,..) in like crazy.

Ps I have nothing against people from Eastern Europe, I have several
friends from that part of the world. All had jobs lined up and came to work
hard I would add.

Just can't understand why people would arrive jobless, with no homes,
and bring children then expect another country to look after them.

Im not talking about refugees, these are people like you and me who realise
the UK benefits system and housing system is better than theirs. So they leave
their own homes behind.

The EU says they have a right to be here because we are all one big happy family.
