Walmart and McDonald's, two of the biggest and oldest brands in the US, have for years faced widespread complaints about poor customer service.
Now both companies are investing billions of dollars in wage increases and training for their workers, following in the footsteps of companies like Chick-fil-A, and they are already seeing positive results.

We have a Hardee's a couple of miles from us, so we hardly ever visit Mc Donald's anymore... and the McD's is actually closer. The staff at Hardee's knows the secret of treating all their customers like they were family.

Where the right hand gives, the left hand will take away...reduced health benefits, vacations etc.
No, don't even count the taxes coming from that 'other' left hand. :)

It's getting so products are from China, just about everywhere you go. They own us, so go figure, right.
Time will tell. It's certainly scary at times how the market is skewed, but ultimately change will come to the whole situation anyway, it's just how it is. It's a sign of the times.

we don't have Walmarts here but we have McDonalds. One major improvement McDonalds should consider is to start selling food instead of whatever it is they sell now.

I do like their sausage and biscuits (here where I live) and their french fries..........but, that is all I order from them.

I dont know,it may be the area. I have two Walmarts close to me and they are great for returning things or any issue. Now the Kmart, horrible. We had to return a table we bought that was bought only 2wks before with the receipt. The manager was all mouth. We said "maybe we should shop Walmart since they have no issues with returns". She said "well maybe you should". Called head office and the lady said they needed to retrain the staff there and that they had no choice but to return the money for the table. So I think it could be the area.

A buddy of mine was fired from Walmart for assisting an elderly lady with a flat tire while on his lunch break. My mother had a hip surgery a few years ago and she is not able to stay off her feet for long periods of time my mother had a hip surgery a few years ago and she is not able to stay all her feet for long periods of time so she uses those carts to ride on. She was told that she could not take the cart out of the store to carry her groceries to the car. She went home and called corporate asking them." Would you rather I take your car to my car with my groceries or would you rather I sue you when I fall your parking lot? This resolved the cart issue
