He "chose" to be heterosexual but it didn't seem to work for him. I think this goes to show that some people don't "chose" to be gay, but "choose to act" on their gay desires. Nevertheless, acting on gay desires is against the word of God (not necessarily having the gay desires).

I'm totally with the "most people don't choose to be gay" but for guys it's pretty hard to fake your sexual orientation. If he was straight enough to get the mechanics working to have two kids then I'm not really sure he was just born gay. Haha I don't really think most straight dudes could "choose" to be gay.

A woman can cause a physiological reaction to a man, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's attracted to her.

I posted about this already in the other thread of the same subject yesterday, but yeah, it seems like there are some Christian musicians who are choosing to become friends of the world by accepting what the world does. This is definitely sad, it will only encourage young minds that God is somehow okay with homosexuality.

(and the desire to practice homosexuality is no different from any other temptation, it is only an urge that you can deny and ignore)

How long must i keep teaching on the 'last hour' apostasy before christians will start waking up?

Years ago i wondered why God kept every door shut against me and my music, me wanting to pastor, our movie soundly rejected, my revival meetings shut down, our street ministry not supported. Now i know. He did not want my wife and i and family part of the apostate, babylonian 'church'. He wanted me to study and research and seek Him, do or die, to find out what the duce is going on in christendom. Well i almost died from depression because of it all.

Well here we are. Not all, but much of the 'church' coming underneath the popish authority, the acceptance of sodomy, the acceptance of new age devilment, the acceptance of islam, and the list goes on.

Yet pretty much all under the lie of the tithe and the cleric system that Jesus hates. See: Nicolaitan.

The scriptures are true and verified by the times we live in. Its only going to get worse because of all the false self exalting shepherds, not to mention these arrogant musicians who had everything handed to them.

As long as it takes. Be encouraged, Yet -- His Kingdom is near! Rejoice!

Yes there have:

Tonex - I used to enjoy his Christian music. He was also married. He divorced his wife after coming out too.

Ray Bolts came out. He was married at the time too.

I just learned about these singers while I was looking for links on Tonex and Ray Boltz.

With all these public figures coming out in the church, it's just a matter of time before a real or pretending transgender person comes into a church and demands to use the restroom of their choice. The clock is ticking on that one.

I don't believe it has anything to do with faking. I believe homosexuality is a real temptation for some people for any number of reasons.

The church isn't perfect nor can it be because it's made up of imperfect people. However, I truly believe that the church in general hasn't done the best job when it comes to advising/counseling Christias dealing with sexual temptation - not limited to homosexuality.

... it is better to marry than to burn with passion. 1 Cor 7:9

That's a common response that I've heard church people give. If you are dealing with sexual temptation, get a spouse. Marriage is not a cure all if you are single and struggling with sexual temptation - just look at Josh Duggar.

I don't pretend to have all the answers. I know that homosexuality, like any other sexual sin, displeases God. However, I also believe that the church has to come up with some real coping suggestions for people battling sexual temptation rather than preaching marriage as a cure all.

I admire the gospel artist Donnie McClurkin. He was molested by an uncle at a very young age. Because of that abuse he's dealt with homosexual temptation. He's actively fighting homosexuality in his own life and speaking out against it publicly because he knows it displeases God, and he's been criticised for doing so by the gay community. However, to my knowledge, he's never been married nor is he seeking a wife. Why should he marry a women when he knows that's not his heart's desire? That wouldn't be fair for him to burden a woman with that.

I understand that he did. There are so many of those guys. Spoke to a few. Raised with it is sin, no deliverance prayer, no counselling, not even did they preach on getting reborn, get a new nature, no baptism in the Holy Spirit and now they're old and gave up and accepted it and turned to false grace. He listened to Rob Bell. Oh my, talk about false grace and wolves.
Good that his exwife is kind to him. I pray he comes back and that they all come back. If those miracles had happened in Sodom it would have stayed. Lord revive us.

See this going on more & more, even with proclaimed Christians... :(

"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold." Matt.24:12
