I'm going to try some british politeness and see if if works?

My dear friends, both conservative and liberal, I urge you to consider that our great nation is in a dire condition. I would ask all Americans to consider the two choices we have to be president of our nation. We have only two choices and cannot be deceived into thinking some other option might be worked up by our friends in the old establishment. The old order of the elitist and radicals must be overturned and replaced by a more honest and representative government. We cannot, under any circumstance, allow the continued slid of our nation into the muck of socialism and corrupt capitalism. I beg you to pray and search your hearts to find what is truly best for our nation. God bless you and God Bless the United States of America.

The irony is that the Brits are not exactly high on decorum while in the House of Commons.

Which I think is a good thing. It's a breath of fresh air to hear an MP call another an "insert expletive." Something honest about it.

we have to be careful about putting to much stock in polls. remember, most of the polls had Britain voting to stay in. oops.

False hope. When you look at ten different polls, and nine of them show Clinton leading Trump by 2%-12%, and an average of 4.8%, and you choose to ignore them and only pay attention to the one poll showing Trump leading, well, you are setting yourself up for some bad news in November.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - General Election: Trump vs. Clinton
Our liberal fiends who take those polls have already been proven to skew the results toward Hillary. Any honest poll will show ahead or even.

Our left-wing friends, see polls as just another form of propaganda ...if they have to tilt the data a little, its no big deal for them really.

It's an effective, but extremely unethical tactic I do not endorse...except maybe a few days before election day with really tight polls.

and the DNC just has bad decision-making all around.

good grief, if they wanted to ensure victory . . .

which is the very purpose of the 'superdelegates' -- to overturn popular nomination of a candidate who may not win, in favor of a candidate who would definitely win, and win BIG.
and this is the reason Sanders isn't dropping out.

Its already been proven that the pollsters are playing games... we should trust them no more than we do the MSM ..if polls are showing Trump a little ahead? You can be sure, he is way ahead in actuality.

Once it settles down over this side of the pond I'm sure I will be getting into your presidential race. I never used to have the slightest interest in politics much less American politics but the older I get the more fascinating I find it all. :)

eh, yeah, erm.. but they are not. they are showing Clinton 'a little ahead.'

so i was wondering if you are consistent in your logic -- therefore Clinton is "
way ahead in actuality"
-- or if you're just as typically biased & making use of wishful thinking + cherry-picking?

hmm?

rasmussen is one of the more unreliable polls...it wasn't always that way...but starting around 2008 something apparently changed in their polling methods that seems to have resulted in a much greater actual margin of error than you would expect from a statistically sound methodology... one symptom of this is volatility...consecutive rasmussen polls can be all over the map...with no apparent real world reason for such wide swings...

anyone remember the last time there was a republican poll denial craze?

https://web.archive.org/web/20121106061419/http://www.unskewedpolls.com/

someone took it upon themselves to mathematically 'unskew' all of the polls and predicted romney winning...sometimes by a large margin...right up to election day...

as we all know...romney didn't win...and the polls turned out to be substantially accurate all along...

word is that the romney camp had bought into the 'unskewed polls' lie...with the encouragement of none other than campaign donor donald trump...and that it influenced campaign decisions in ways that were counter productive...

you don't have to trust every poll...but to throw nine out of ten polls out the window is the kind of poll denial that led the romney campaign to make bad decisions in 2012...and if it continues then the republicans will likewise pay for it this november...

and lets be honest, 99% of those polls are from left leaning groups who of course will put crooked hillary in the lead.
