Reasonable people should have good reasons for believing the things we believe as well as good reasons for doing the things we do. I don't know why this would be controversial.

...And this has nothing to do with atheism. I don't know where that comment came from out of left field. In any case, it's off topic and a red herring for addressing the problem at hand.
Maybe I do have good reasons and maybe I don't. I've stated enough of em around here for you to make that determination yourself. If you wanna find them, go look. I owe you nothing.

Anybody but Hillary, good enough reason to vote Trump. Only choice out there. If anyone watched Comey today and still puts that woman in office, they are out of their ever loving minds.

I may agree that I think that's the best reason to vote for DT, but I would disagree that it's a good reason for the simple fact that a positive vote for someone isn't a negative vote for someone else (maybe you could say a positive vote for someone is a negative vote for everyone else though). Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to think that way. A positive vote for DT is a vote for all the the policies he will implement and all the actions he doesn't or doesn't take while in office. It's not a vote against one other person. Or as the old metaphor goes: a vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil.

Said the person (a) without good reasons and (b) that didn't think good reasons were needed. But sure, accuse me of "quitting thinking" when you were the one playing hide and seek with your "reasons."

Here's my take, this country, just barely, survived 8yrs of Obama. Trump will have 4yrs to prove whether he can turn the country around. If he can't,boot him out. On the other hand a vote for Hillary,or staying home, will be four more years of Obama in a dress. Pretty simple choice to me.

You got a lot of faith in your man, but I'm not that sure good ole Donald's gonna make you tired of winning:p He's gonna be up to his knees in the same mud every President before him has. He's gonna be the President of filibusters...lol

If he just cancelled the Ex-orders of Obama ..he would be the greatest president since Reagan ...If he said the word Islamic terrorism and enforced immigration laws already on the books ..he would be a Great American hero .

It has probably been said before, but this is an epiphany that I've had in regard to voting for our leaders: It is best for each person to vote his/her conscience before God instead of trying to affect the outcome (by voting for the lesser of two evils).
We all know that the lesser of two evils is still evil, but I had been going that way to try to affect the outcome. This election cycle it finally occurred to me that my task is not to try to affect the outcome, but to leave that to God. My task is to vote my conscience and, of course, to try to persuade others to vote in such a manner that keeps us within the constraints of our Constitution.

I wish I could claim those words as my own, but they're not, they do speak what is on my heart.

This is what I have noticed ..that the Hillary folks know the people know she is a crook, plain and simple. The only hope she and her supporters have is to try and make Trump look like a crook too.. So we have the constant "two evils" equation ... No one can tell me they have a pure conscience before God and cant see the difference between these two people. I don't buy it for a min ..and will say before the Lord, there is only one choice that in anyway could represent the will of God for our nation.

They have different issues, no doubt, but I won't vote for either. UNLESS one of them changes, SINCERELY changes. I don't believe that God would ask His children to appoint a leader that has policies contradicts even the most basic human rights.

I don't even know what you could be saying about Trump in this regard? "basic human rights" you mean the right to cross a border illegally and take a job that don't belong to you but to a citizen of that country? Or the right to expect a muslim will submit to our culture and our ideas, if they choose to come to our country?

By the way God don't think in terms of mans political ideas of human rights... He makes the rules about right and wrong..blessing and cursing. No man can bless those God has cursed and no man can curse those God has blessed.

Nope. If a person wants a better life they can change themselves, their environment, and if really necessary (as in most cases of illegals) have their own revolution in their own country and actually change things. And I have no respect for people who follow a murderous, abusive child molester, so I won't even touch that subject.

What I'm talking about are things like their abortion positions. Obviously, Clinton is all about abortion, pretty much encourages it. Trump, however, is where I was 5 yrs ago: Pro-life with exceptions.
The truth is you can't be prolife with exceptions.

Things like that, the right to life.

Trump has made very clear..he values the unborn and will appoint prolife judges? How do you compare that to bloody Hillary?
