I don't know what WND is, so I wasn't going to trust the source, but I looked into it further and read this in the WSJ (Wall Street Journal), and I do trust them.

Mr. Sanders cast the DNC as an inept operation that has failed to inspire people to vote, resulting in large Democratic losses in years when the president is not on the ballot.
He said the DNC needs new “leadership and a new chair that would lead the process of transforming the Democratic Party.”
This story is two days old, hubby leaves the TV on so I'm stuck listening to MSM way too much, and all they keep talking about is how unified the Dems are.

Did unity just get a new definition?

WND is World Net Daily, run by Joseph Farrah a Christian man, as an alternative news site to the MSM. He usually only posts credible stories.

If Sanders runs as independent, doesn't that mean that Trump will win because votes that would have gone to Clinton
would now be wasted?

I don't believe that there is enough time to set up the necessary infrastructure as far as qualifying in each state, campaign team and strategy, volunteer staff, etc., at this stage of the game. Besides this, he has already publically endorsed Hillary. I'm sure that he has no plans to run as an independent. That ship has sailed.

I think your right, he does not have the corporate money-backing that Hillary has to compete with her and Trump (who's self-financing much of his own camp as I can tell). Also, if you go against the democratic machine they will smear him, it's best that he licks his wounds and fades back into the shadows. Clintons have a long trail of blood before benghazi....he'd be wise to stay out.

Bernie Sanders, perhaps the most classy candidate we've had in over 100 years. I genuinely feel that if Bernie Sanders played dirty politics, he would have defeated Hillary and Trump. Instead, he chose to showcase his differences between Hillary/Trump on substantive issues, not on the mudslinging.

Say what you will about some of his policies, he sets a perfect example of how to conduct an honorable campaign.

For the RNC, I watched it entirely on FOX News. For the DNC, I've watched it entirely on CNN.

I am really irritated with CNN and their endless worshiping of Hillary. They focus 99.99% on WHO hacked the DNC emails and almost nothing on WHAT the emails said. Furthermore, the panel was talking about how awesome the speakers are (which some were really good speeches) and crapped on the RNC. They talked about how bad Cruz hit the Republicans, but make no mention of how bad Bernie got destroyed by the establishment. As you said as well, they are trying to create this illusion of unity in the DNC, but it is just as divided, if not slightly more, than the RNC.

I don't play favorites between the DNC/RNC, I do my best to call spades a spade when I see it, which is more than anyone can say for CNN. Incredibly biased.

1.) It wouldn't be wasted, even if they use their vote for Dr. Phil.
2.) I think the majority of Bernie supporters will be loyal to Bernie's wishes and vote for Hillary. In my opinion, they should just say, "We love you Bernie, you're the best candidate we have... but we don't agree with voting for the woman and party that screwed you out of the nomination. Please forgive us for voting for someone else (even if it's not Trump).

The only wasted votes in this election will be cast for Clinton and Trump.

For the 20 jillionth time, I'm not a liberal. I'm a centrist. Both liberals and conservatives are wrong and are ruining this country. You can vote for the plate of turds on the right, or you can vote for the plate of turds on the left, but either way the ignorant voters of this country will once again vote in a plate of turds.

But what can I expect from a guy who, having been shown a clear error, takes the position that he's going to continue in error because that's just the way he is.

Actually I'm liking the guy from the Veterans party. Sounds a lot like Trump without the vitriol.

If I was liberal leaning, I'd be voting for Trump or Hillary.

This sure seems to be sadly (and frighteningly) true.

A classy communist.

There's a lesson in futility somewhere in there.

No conservative would confuse these two people ...
Ain't Trump confusing you? He's been twisting pert near ever word he's ever uttered before. His adversary ain't conducting her campaign any better either. Two of a kind, that's the candidates:p

I don't see him twisting anything? I think he talks a lot and the left-wing media tries to twist every word he says ..but Trump himself has been Trump and talked about the same issue from the beginning .. borders, trade, military, law and order, economy restoring America back to greatness

Bernie Sanders.... you're too good for the DNC. They don't respect you anymore than they respect Donald Trump. The difference is you don't sink to their level and deserve respect by the example you have set as a legitimate presidential candidate.

I pray Bernie never goes back!
