Well, given the recent chess moves in getting the world set up for whatever sick end game the puppet masters have in mind, it's not at all surprising that expression of faith is targeted as something bad and to be punished or stopped. $5 says that if it were any other religion on Earth being expressed, this never would have happened.

Not necessarily, it seems they are very afraid of the Lord, and that they don't want to insult people from a certain religion.
