Yea I hate washing dishes after they pile up. So to avoid this I wash them right away after eating if I can. More of a psychological thing, I guess b/c if you do less dishes more frequently it doesn't feel as if it's as much a burden compared to a cupboard full of dishes sitting there staring at you from the sink screaming "WASH ME!" not a fun picture and gives a sour mood when it's like 30 min of washing.....not fun... :)

I'm gonna go with Aliens. Either that or you're actually breaking the dishes which gives the illusion of ever increasing dishware.

It has to do with bacteria and enzymes.

You could sell the extra dishes that are spawning in your sink.

Great thread for a change.

Dishes around our house tend to disappear, especially forks. The rate of disappearance is directly proportional to the quantity of cake or pie that Mama has in the kitchen, when kids or grand kids are present.

I thought this was an anti SKY thread. Their dishes are eyesores along with the useless windmills that pollute our environment while supposingly helping to protect it.
