If Hillary Clinton wants to bring Donald Trump to task for suggesting Barack Obama was born outside the United States, that’s one thing. Accusing him of having racist motives for doing so is another. I think Obama is an awful president. Does that make me a racist? I think Ben Carson is a great man. It’s not the color of your skin that counts – it’s your character.

But again, I am preaching to the choir, aren't I?

How? Did you think "being a racist" was simply calling someone a n----r or a Honkie? No, the Raza is a very anti anything but Mexican group. Expecting a Raza member to return a judgment against anything Mexican, is about like a Black man expecting a judge who wore a KKK hood at night to be fair to him.

Donald Trump is many things, some of them questionable but I don't believe that he's a racist.

I can remember, to this day, my Black nanny (who, basically, raised me from the cradle till I was in third grade) pointing to different Black people, and explaining to me why some were Negros and Colored People (good terms, in her opinion), and others, she just referred to as "field N------rs." It would be hard to call Hattie a "racist" even though she classified the various strains of White people the same way.

As Forrest Gump's mother put it, "_______ is, as ______ does." We have gotten so sensitively PC, that we don't even know how to see real people anymore.

I agree. PC is passe and is vey divisive. "Stupid is as stupid does". I like chocolates too. That's how I roll 'em.

I look at all these buzzwords (racist, bigot, ect) as merely being used because the person using them doesnt have an argument.

If Donald Trump was really doing things that made him a racist, and someone was pointing it out, then great. Thank you for opening our eyes. But if you are just going around calling him a racist with nothing to back it up, then you are just a dishonest mudslinger. And thats pretty much how Ive come to view the left in the US : p

No one has answered the OPs question. My interpretation of why they haven't is that it is an uncomfortable question for the trumpies on this site. They have a feeling he is, and they know that racism is unGodly. So, if the trumpies say he is, they are saying in a roundabout way that they are ok with an openly (and proudly????) racist POTUS.

We have to take the good with the bad in a POTUS, just like we do in all of our human relationships. And, personally, I think more of us are more racist than we are willing to admit.

I am not a trumpie and I think he is quite racist. Higher on the racist scale than I am. (I think we are all racist to some degree - 1% to 100%.)
