Obama has said he will not leave office if Trump is elected. DO any of you think he will try to pull some kind of crazy crap and stay in the White House?

I think the globalusts (ya I misspelled that on purpose) have been exposed and know they would not survive a naked coup attempt. They lost this very significant battle but their aims are long term and will regroup to fight another day.

Here's a reality check; Trump now takes precedence over Obama with regards to the secret service and the military. If oboy tries anything he'll be arrested.

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil 4: 6-7

I lost my peace during the last couple of weeks...one of if not the most precious thing I have...I am talking about God's peace...not a feeling

I turned everything off until I had the center of myself back where He belonged...God most definately spoke to me through His word and mostly just through His peace put back in my heart where it belonged when I took my eyes off men and put them back on God

stop being fearful

don't say God is in control either..God does not control in the sense many seem to think He does

rather, simply believe when He tells us not to fear. I came to the place where even if the other candidate had won, I knew things would be OK because God should be the center of our universe and I decided, by His Spirit, that things were settled in Him

make sense?

Yes... exactly. I would have been content with either outcome, because I had decided that giving myself ulcers over this was not trusting in God. In fact, I had fallen for what the polls were telling us, and was about 90% convinced that Hillary was going to win it handily. I had arrived at a state of peace over this, and was not even going to watch the returns, until I turned the tv on and saw that Trump was ahead.... Then I was stuck, and had to watch it all the way to the end.

"this world is not our home" is something I have to remind myself of daily....

Oh stop. Obama isn't going to do anything. Don't make me laugh. The bells have tolled for thee, be on your merry way now.

How happy am I, how happy am I.

sounds like we kind of had similar thoughts...I'm positive many would concur

I turned off the news after Comey's blurp on Sun afternoon and did not turn it on again until this am

the work is just beginning...and prayer is as important now as it was before the results came in

my husband kept track and didn't turn in until after 3 am...we are both very positive about the results

Wait............

What? Seriously?

sigh................you ever READ the Constitution?

Utah..............AS LONG as Obama HOLDS the Office of President, he CAN NOT be ARRESTED BY ANYONE FOR ANYTHING!

None of this matters anyway..........the whole idea that he would do such a thing as suggested in the OP is just plain silly.

Anythings possible so i wouldn't rule it out. if America is attacked between now & inauguration Obama can still enforce martial law and stay in indefinitely.

There is no such law to allow the Military to enforce civil law and take over the functions of government.

Can a Sitting President be Arrested?
http://conservativepapers.com/news/2013/05/09/can-a-sitting-president-be-arrested/

the following government website where it states:

“The Sergeant at Arms is authorized to arrest and detain any person
violating Senate rules, including the President of the United States.

U.S. Senate: Office of the Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper

The Constitution isn’t silent about why the president can be removed it states:

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States,
shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason,
Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

From this we can see that the only way to remove a president is by impeachment
AND conviction of treason, bribery, high crimes or misdemeanors. This also hints
to the fact that the president cannot be arrested until he has been convicted by the Senate.

It would seem conceivable that the Senate’s Sergeant at Arms can then officially
arrest and imprison him. He cannot be removed from office until after he is
convicted and no sitting president will ever be imprisoned as long as he has
the power of the Presidency at his disposal. Logic would then suggest that
no sitting president can ever be arrested until he is removed from office.

Actually, there is............BUT Obama would also be ousted........

(excerpt)

Martial law has also been imposed during conflicts, and in cases of occupations, where the absence of any other civil government provides for an unstable population. Examples of this form of military rule include post World War II reconstruction in Germany and Japan as well as the Southern Reconstruction following the U.S. Civil War.

Typically, the imposition of martial law accompanies curfews, the suspension of civil law, civil rights, habeas corpus, and the application or extension of military law or military justice to civilians. Civilians defying martial law may be subjected to military tribunal (court-martial).

Martial law - Wikipedia

United States[edit]

See also: Suspension clause

The martial law concept in the United States is closely tied with the right of habeas corpus, which is in essence the right to a hearing on lawful imprisonment, or more broadly, the supervision of law enforcement by the judiciary. The ability to suspend habeas corpus is related to the imposition of martial law.[SUP][27][/SUP] Article 1, Section 9 of the US Constitution states, "The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

In United States law, martial law is limited by several court decisions that were handed down between the American Civil War and World War II. In 1878, Congress passed the Posse Comitatus Act, which forbids military involvement in domestic law enforcement without congressional approval.

You should research the executive orders Obama signed.

Habeas corpus is the right of a person detained by the government, to require the government to show why under the law, the person should be detained, be it by warrant or writ.

No law in the United States allows the president to hand over the functions of government from himself to any component of the armed forces.

All officers of the Army, Air Force, and Navy have to obey legislation regardless of the orders given to them by those appointed over them.

Even if Obama could declare "Martial Law" he would no longer be president on January 20, 2017 at 1200 EST.
