... in a democracy you can say whatever you want, unless you're advocating violence.

Well, let's hope this is just another stage in the mourning process.
... you never know with these weirdos though.

If her family members are in the country illegally they have no right to demand to stay. The overweight lady marching against democracy while mouthing off in the news clip should not be advocating for them to continue breaking the law while making threats of violence and death against those who desire to see the land returned to peaceful law abiding citizens. Perhaps she could be deported with the illegals if she wishes to see her family stay together.

The hive mind of darkness has been activated. This is to be expected, it happens every time the people of God push back.

Gomaer, we are not a democracy. We are a Republic. A Democracy would be, if it existed, strict majority rule, with nothing to protect the rights of the individual, or of minorities, against a tyranical majority if they desired to trample individual rights or minority rights.

A Republic, on the other hand, runs through a constitution which, in our case, was written by men who examined forms of government and saw that people were not basically good and therefore needed a system by which they could rule themselves but which also kept them in check. This was so that it could not advance too far in either of the directions - either a tyrannical and unchecked majority or a tyrannical elite rule.

I am not a political person, so if I've made a mistake, someone can correct me.

But what I see in these angry protests is special interest groups banding together to try to be a tyrannical majority by their numbers. They think they would be happier in a Democracy but what would in fact happen if they got their wish is chaos (because people are not basically good and need checks.) This is why the founders went for a republic, with representaives and with checks and balances instead of a Democracy. They didn't want either an elite rule to develop NOR did they want a tyrannical majority rule. Either of these can trample individual rights.
