For people who may not know. The bank of England has issued a
new £5 it has a very thin plastic coating, it can still be folded up but the coating
makes it tougher and hard wearing, plus more likely to withstand a
cycle in the washing machine.

Apparently this coating is made of components which includes tallow
which is animal fat.

But to any vegetarians out there, if you want to get rid of your
£5 notes then I will gladly take them off your hands. Lol

I was chatting to a staff member at lunch time who is vegetarian.
When she saw the news she instantly went through her purse looking
for £5 notes with such a look of disgust.

I explained that most of the plastic items in her home had
elements of oils and therefore possibly some had animal fat compounds,
maybe even the plastic seat she was sat on!

She looked at me in all seriousness and said that was ok as she could wipe her seat
before she sat on it!

Oh and she had a leather handbag!

Her leather is made from fruit skins.

It's just social justice warriors complaining again. They get 'offended' at everything. Anything to get a rise from people. Anything to get noticed.

Or ones made with pig skin. Lol

The mind boggles!

they should stop tasting them.
