Don't get your hopes up about Trump.....his cabinet choices speak volumes (neo-cons).

IDK...sounds like there are some good choices in there too. And maybe he's picking some to keep them close. There is a story of a leader who made all of his "enemies" live inside the castle walls. And ultimatum....don't give fodder to the perpetually gullible haters like Jennymae. Let's see how this unfolds before jumping to conclusions like the left does.

The 3 generals is one very smart move. Those agencies HAVE to work together to be effective. That is one of the biggest reasons the Dims have failed so dismally in this area. They deliberately chose people who were at odds with one another, and therefore stalemated any protection of the USA any of the others attempted to enact.

That is a good point.

I'm not starting to dump on the trump...but going back on his promises like repealing obamacare, and prosecuting clinton is quite disheartening to say the least....plus his motto was drain the swamp not feed the creatures/revive them lol.....

Just b/c Trump is not hillary does not mean he should get a free pass to do whatever he feels like, you as a voter should hold him accountable starting Jan 20th......some of those choices are heavily influenced by the war-mongering profiteering neo-cons who have ruined America via countless, useless wars and destabilization of countries....all the while jacking the debt at home up to unfathomable levels....

I have lost faith in Trump and don't care if people get pissed with me saying it....he hoodwinked tons of voters with all the rhetoric/false promises and will renege on a good 75% of them if not more is my prediction......we'll see what he does in the days after Jan 20th, if he keeps a good portion then I will be the first to admit I was wrong in being skeptical...but for now my skepticism on Trump is at 60%. He doesn't control the swamp, the swamp controls him whether by death threats/violence/black mail via his scandals, he is never going to clean up DC b/c DC has him in a choke hold in every way even before he gets into office.....

There will not be a wall between Mexico and the US....it would defeat the purpose of cheap labor for his corporate wall street buddies....

His tough talk on banksters was complete bs....his cabinet is filled with ex goldman sachs guys ....you know that bank that likes to screw you a la 2008 economic meltdown and gets magically bailed out all the time while Lehman goes belly up.....and you the tax payer are stuck with the fine for their "banking errors " *cough fraud!

That he meets with Henry Kissinger was the start of my lost hope in Trump....anyone who hangs out with Kissinger is usually a sick psychopath b/c HK is a sick b-tard himself......vietnam, calling soldiers "cannon fodder"....I mean as an American do none of these issues bother you?

I know Jennymae may be a "hater" on Trump :p but as a Trump voter some of these choices/decision should concern you a bit as to the future path of America and the bottom line being how it will affect your wallet via taxes and the economy....jmo....dissent is welcome and I will keep it civil on my part :D

Do I have your permission to rub your nose in this statement when work begins on that wall? And what are going to be your comments when a wall actually exists in a year or two?

Cool! Now maybe you'll start making some good ones of your own! That is after all, the duty of the disciple....to outgrow the dependence on a human teacher.

Sounds like a good deal.... IF we were being realistic. But, your suggestion is not. We are talking about the distance from Florida to New York AND BACK AGAIN. I seriously doubt that can be completed in one year. Possibly two. And we already know that a wall is not required, at all, in some areas. I can see you trying to weasel out of this if there is not a solid brick wall along every inch of the border. LOL

This is akin to saying Trump is back-tracking on the Obama Care deal.

If I told you I would completely overhaul your car... and you had perfectly good wheels, glass, radio, seats, bumpers, hood, headlights, and trunk... it would make no sense to scrap those items if they were perfectly valid as they are, and working just fine. If I did all that, I would just have to end up replacing them with identical items..... and I would have wasted a ton of time and money in doing so.

With the amount of red tape that Trump's wall will have to go through (environmental impact studies, etc) just for it to get to the design phase then all the red tape of design (the US Army Corp of Engineers doesn't move fast) it would take an act of God in order for them to even break ground within a year or two, let alone have it complete.

I think he promised to build it, not to finish it:p. He didn't say a word about how long it would take.
