What purpose did that really serve? Other than turning off a bunch of parents to never want to go to any church ever? We are surrounded by sin everywhere we go. Do we really think by shouting out to the public about any sin not just lying that we will have a run on the church to fill the pews? There were a lot of angry parents there.... I just don't see what good purpose this served.....bringing people to Christ....I don't get it.

Absolutely self serving and ridiculous! He did it to bring glory to himself. What others believe is none of his business, whatever they teach their kids. These people make a fool out of themselves and close hearts and minds to the Gospel. He accomplished what he set out do do,make a name for himself.

Ive told this story before but we were doing an open air concert back when I was in ministry. As we were setting up an old guy was "preaching" and yelling at the young girls on the street who wear wearing shorts and telling them they were going to hell. They just yelled things back at him and kept driving. We began to sing songs with a message in them and the same young girls stopped to listen and came to talk to us. There is sharing the Word and throwing it at people. And that doesn't who it is or what sin you are dealing with. This man wanted to bring glory to himself, mission accomplished.

He said there was no Santa, no reindeer, no elves, and no workshop.

So... I guess I sent my resume to the North Pole for nothing.

Methinks the pastor will be instantly put on the naughty list for the rest of his life and receive coal in his stocking....serves him right. Nobody messes with Santa and gets away with it :p

Rather presumptuous to label this as a selfish, self aggrandizing act. What i witnessed was a well intentioned person acting in an unwise manner. Somewhat of a blind overzealousness, rather than a selfish act of someone who wants to make a name for themselves.

This is one of those rare times when I cannot agree with you at all. I remember the video this jackass put on his website of shooting Santa Claus by a firing squad. That was when he was also in Amarillo.

No,not really. He made sure he filmed himself doing it.A modicum of common sense would have told him not to do such a thing. Common sense would have said have something special at the church, cookies n dollar store gifts and then tell them about the baby Jesus. Nope, this idiot goes out and films himself acting like a donkey in public. He brought attention to himself and thats all. Im that upset that I had better just shut my mouth from there.

Funny you say that. Most of the comments on yt involved shoving the pastors phone in one orifice or another, or some form of violence. So i responded that they must all be Hilary supporters. /innocent smile

Cap.
To cap.
Capping.
The state of having been capped.

I really have no clue about the proper grammatical abbreviation for "capping".

The truth is... and I'm sure everyone will be disappointed ... but... I really don't know very much about gangsters.

I just have a huge issue with abuse of children in any way. This guy is being abusive to the psyche of children. My tolerance for that is zero....esp from people who should know better.
