With Israel in the News, and so many people around the world, and right here in America.......both Dems and Repubs believing that the only way to achieve peace in the Middle East is a Two State Solution for Israel, I must wonder why these same folks do not believe a Two State Solution would bring peace to America?

Given the huge divide in this country between liberals and conservatives, pro life and abortionists, pro gay marriage and not, pro God and anti God and on and on and on, and given the amount of unrest this is creating, it seems to me the Two State Solution is the only way to achieve peace right here in the United States.

But, bring this up and watch them scream and shout it down. It might be good enough for them durn Jews, BUT NOT FOR US AMERICANS!

I wouldn't advocate such a thing given the state of the world, but should I live to a ripe old age I'm not so sure I will die in a "United States."

There will never be a two state solution because the enemies of Israel do not really want one. They want Israel destroyed and all Jews dead. It is nothing more than empty talk as they continue their acts of terror.
Peace will only come when Jesus returns.

Well, if people with good sense can keep the Dims from either destroying the USA, or giving it away, we may actually keep the United States for awhile longer.

Not just secede, but cut them loose from the continental land mass, and let them float off somewhere.

If you want to take this super far, it would make more sense to let San Francisco and Los Angeles secede from the Union as City-States and leave the more sane portions of California be.

The perfect solution would be a blend of Willie and Desdichado's ideas. Don't cut off the entire state, just the part west of the San Andreas Fault with the exception of the San Francisco/Oakland area (the fault hits the coast west of San Francisco) so you would have to jog over to the Calaveras and Rogers Creek faults to knock off the bay area.

I'm thinking there are many more areas of the Country that are heavily Liberal and anit-Christ. While there are some good folks living in these areas, they would simply have to move to the newly created State that believes in God and the Constitution as written by the Founding Fathers. Yes, some of the Amendments would be kept, but the broad brush liberal interpretations by activists Liberal Jurists would be struck down.

My point with this thread was to show how those who push the Two State solution for Israel and the Palestinians decry the same solution to resolve the huge divide among the people here in the US. And, while the level of violence does not meet what happens over there, one can not say that no violence occurs, for it surely does.

Wrong Persuaded........ Peace will come to Israel after the Psalm 83 war where she defeats all of her border enemies. No, not Russia, Iran or Turkey and a few African nations. These are in the Gog/Magog war where the only reason they are attacking is to plunder Israel.

At the time of this Psalm 83 war, Israel will be fat, rich and sassy, will have no walls, will live in peace (they have destroyed their neighbors).

It appears in the case of Gog/magog war, the US will no longer be a super power.

It is also unclear as to who the players on Israel's side will be (if any) during the Psalm 83 war.

Keep in mind that several other prophecies will probably happen during the times... The Destruction of Damascus (overnight) and the desporia of the people of ELAM throughout the world.
