So sad. As we have yet to see any real evidence of a Russian hack.
Always remember this was brought to you by the same gov't who stated there were weapons of mass deception, sorry, I mean destruction in Iraq.
With so much corruption its hard to tell who the good guys anymore.
When thinking of the affairs of this world, I remember...
John 18:36 (KJV)
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

The more Putin ignores the actions of President Obama, the dumber President Obama looks, and the greater the opportunity for a new President Trump.

I see an interesting headline coming this spring.

"President Trump and President Putin create an Economic Alliance"

There are some things that are important to consider. Putin is former KGB, his agenda is unclear and he is somehow lurking in the shadows. To him the distrust between the generals and the Trump administration is better than what he could be hoping for, granted this distrust really exists in a so significant manner that it has a potential for causing problems.

What I believe, is that Putin is seeking some sort of agreement with the U.S., so he can take care of important matters at hand in other parts of the world. He's constructing a new super power, while trying to reduce American influence. What will Europe look like in 10 years, without American presence? Hard to tell, but I'm sure it will be an even more divided part of the world than it is as of today.

Germany will most likely grow stronger. Some uncertainty due to the high number of immigrants, but still. France has a potential, but will not be able to cope with Germany. Britain is, like the U.S., en route to isolationism.

Trump needs to know what kind of player he is up against. The Russians don't think like we do, they are maybe not that patience as the Chinese, but it is clear that they are manipulating their way to yet again become a super power...or, THE Super Power.

In response to your post:

1. "I believe, is that Putin is seeking some sort of agreement with the U.S., so he can take care of important matters at hand in other parts of the world."
Of course.
I think everyone understands that.
But, there's nothing wrong with making agreements with some people, so you can go focus on problems with other people.
That isn't necessarily bad.
We need to do that too.
Also, in politics, much like war, and even business, you don't have the luxury of only playing ball with your best friends... your reach needs to be a little broader than that.

2. "He's constructing a new super power."
That seems unlikely.
Though he probably would like to expand Russian "influence", and get some new pipelines running.

3. "What will Europe look like in 10 years without American presence?"

Well, Europe is a pretty big mess right NOW.
That's why the U.K left the European Union, and France and Italy are trying to get out of it... as are others.
As far as Europe being "without American presence"... I don't see that happening, and the more countries that leave the European Union, the greater our influence will actually be in Europe.

4. "Germany will most likely grow stronger."
Germany is a huge mess right now, and there whole society is collapsing.
It's only a matter of time before their economy follows.
I haven't checked the numbers, but I'm pretty sure we could look up all the data, and we'd find their economy is GETTING WORSE.
* It isn't possible to bring a million jobless refugees into a small country without taking a massive hit against both your economy and society at large.

5. "Britain, like the U.S. is enroute to isolationism."
- Well, deciding we don't want the U.N. deciding policies for our citizens... that's not isolationism.
- Deciding we should STOP blowing up small countries... that's not isolationism.
- Deciding we want to make changes to our international trade policies, so we STOP LOSING MONEY ON TRADES, is not isolationism.
- Britain is dealing with similar issues, only worse... the EU was making them accept all kinds of laws that NOBODY IN THEIR COUNTRY EVER VOTED ON... and they got sick of it.

6. "Trump needs to know what kind of player he is up against."

- Trump has been doing international deals, all over the planet, for a long time, it's not like he's naive.
- Trump may be irritating, or he may have policies some don't like, but irritating and disagreeable do not equate to naive.
- Trump is building a full team of people, who's full time job is to KNOW all these international issues, stay on top of them, communicate with our intelligence agencies, make good decisions, and keep the white house abreast of everything.
* It's very unlikely that Trump, with years of international experience, multiple intelligence agencies collecting data, and full teams of professionals who do nothing but attend to these matters... it's hard to imagine that with all of that, you somehow know more about Putin than Trump does.

It's fine to dislike him, or disagree with him, or whatever.
But I think these particular statements are, for the most part, ungrounded in real data.
These all sound like "opinion" pieces from the left.

It sounds to me like you've been reading the Huffington Post again.

Furthermore, all of the recent information on "Russian Hacking", that's been coming out of the White House and the Washington Post, has pretty much all been proven to be bogus.

Surely you've seen the news by now.

If not we can start posting all the links, but all you have to do is look around.

Let's go straight to the Huffington Post first. Huffington Post is something I've never read in my entire life. As you very well know, I'm a conservative. I think I have made that perfectly clear. Lumping me in together with HP against the best of your knowledge makes me think you're not so honest whenever debating.

While I'm at it, let's preceed from the bottom up:).

Starting with #6:

#6
This isn't an attack, even though you read it that way. It hasn't even got anything to do with liking or disliking him. It certainly is not an opinion from the left. I find it disturbing that people who call themselves conservatives, like yourself, are trying to label other conservatives liberals. In debates I'd say that is a rhetorical flaw, but I'll give you the benefit of doubt for now.

As for ungrounded in real data, I think reading what Trump is saying, listening to him speaking is a source too. I wish him the best. Me pointing out some challenges should not be a problem to you. You are certainly waiving your right to post links yourself more often than not.

#5
Have you considered the fact that the US will be leaving a geopolitical vacuum if Trump is serious about what he is saying. Luckily, I don't believe he is. I think he will make sure that the US stays on the geopolitical scene.

As for your use of caps, don't, it makes your argumentation come across invalid, which I'm starting to think maybe is the case anyways.

#4
I disagree with you on most of what you say here. A weak US will in turn, more likely than not, create a strong Germany. I think you should start analyzing European politics over the last 150 years and take a look at how war an unrest is showing its ugly face more often than people likes to think of.

An economy getting weaker is not something that will go on forever. Germany has shown that before. You really need to take a look at European politics, Mr Maxwell:). While you're at it, have a look at how France has been doing its business too:).

#3
This isn't Trump's fault. The current administration is to blame for this. The weak US foreign policy has made Europe start planning for a life withous the US. Why do you think Putin is acting so high and mighty? An extremely weak president is the reason.

The Brits have their own agenda, which includes cutting the ties to Europe, and seek for other allies. It is not a good omen, but perfectly understandable, because France, Belgium and Germany are making Europe weaker by not being able to stop the immigration wave. In fact, and I'm not going to waste time offering sources on this one either, Merkel believes they need to allow even more immigrants in.

The US will not benefit from a weak Europe. On the contrary, the Russian influence will get stronger, Putin is already winning the propaganda war. Even in the US people likes him. How do you think he will come across in Europe when the countries are in a mess on all levels, and then, he is the one offering them oil, gas etc?

#2
Okay...

#1
No comment.

As for post #47
I haven't been mentioning the emails here. As I have already stated, there's no need for allowing a Democratic administration to continue its bad piece of work, because the Democratic Party is to blame for this mess. If you're analyzing what the President Elect is saying, and IF that is what he is planning to, which I don't believe, then he is just Obama all over again. But as I said, I don't think he is.

Regarding yourself, after reading your responses to me for some time now...I have only one more thing to say about you...

...ne supra crepidam sutor iudicaret...

Throw Israel under the bus.

Now shake Russia's tree.

How much more damage can President Obama do in the 23 days he has left?

Obama Issues Sanctions for Alleged Russian Hacking

do you really wanna know? just had all the aircraft carriers go park themselves:

In what can only be described as a disproportionate appropriation of U.S. Navy assets, a blatant breach of standard protocol, and a possible set up for a false flag operation — the entire U.S. Navy aircraft carrier group, 10 active carriers, have returned to port and are now all sitting ducks.
According to information displayed on GoNavy.jp , which tracks the current locations of all active aircraft carriers, the Obama Administration has ordered every single active U.S. aircraft carrier home.
About 6000 sailors from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower strike group returned to Norfolk, Virginia “out of nowhere” Friday, just ahead of New Year’s, after CVN69’s deployment on June 1.

You no good lyin' liberal
Friend of Soros and DeGeneres
Slinging mud like Justice Ginsburg
Leaves a trail of same sex marriages'

Posts a truckload full of garbage
Naming it par excellence
Doesn't change the void no value
Inhabiting your posts

But there is a Barry for you
Yet he truly is John Lackland
Who might need your inkless pen

It's bad enough people label us. Why would we want to label ourselves? I'm a conservative, I'm a liberal? Who cares...just be an honest decent person.

That's what I mean. I know "conservatives" who are dingbats as much as "liberals" are. They mean nothing to me. The quality of the person is what really matters.

I view it this way. 80-90% of liberals give the rest a bad name. 10-20% of conservatives give the rest a bad name.

Labels are not an absolute indicator of quality. But they help.
