Hey Blue Lady bug. Gas up your car. If the electrical goes out, some Vermonters may lose heat. I am prepared to sleep in my car tonight to stay warm if need be.

Russian hacking code detected in Vermont electrical system

In a frightening new development, the Russian hackers believed to have interfered in the 2016 presidential election also reportedly penetrated a Vermont utility.
A code used by the hackers, dubbed Grizzly Steppe by the Obama administration, has been detected within the electrical system, the Washington Post said Friday.
Although the code allowed the Russians to penetrate the system, they did not disrupt operations of the utility, the paper said.
The utility learned it had been infiltrated when feds shared the malware code with power companies across the country.
Russia is accused of hacking the power grid in Ukraine last year and plunging the country into darkness

All world conflicts have secretly centered around electricity in Vermont.

All students of history know this.

Cutting off the electricity in Vermont is the ultimate cyber battle victory, it's like Gettys-Freakin-Cyber-Burg seen through the eyes of a Yankee:p.

This is all media hype, Russians usually don't hack(on that type of level...without proxies), well all the ones i know who do black hat stuff, usually they just syskey each other, or do goofy "lizard squad" stuff like ddos online games..

I would imagine it could be China, but they are already flexing their muscle as it is by "running tests" so i don't see the motive with them... the worst i see them doing is making a few "trades" on the darknet, but not trying to influence an election by hacking it.

Looking back at the map again, i could say German possibly, but more of the same like Russia, but usually they work in conjunction with China both in terms of ddosing.. they usually tag team with eachother when they hit internet provider services offline against the United States.. its pretty funny actually lol (funny to look at the attacks in progress..not so much when trying to use the internet for something important).. then when they get bored with attacking us then they just beat on eachother.

I would say my chips are on Obama, he wants a war, or a recount.. the "hackers" are all his staff, nobody is that dumb to get caught like that.. at least all the ones i know of.

The actual gov't report, analyzing this hack, also came with a DISCLAIMER that it might be completely wrong!

You can't make this up.

that never happened

they found some malware on one computer that had nothing to do with the power grid

totally nonsensical

somebody please tell me what a Russian hacking code is

what utter nonsense...if someone is good enough to hack...they are not leaving hacking codes

I can't stand how stupid things are getting/are

no such thing as a 'hacking code'

Just Hillary, Obama, and the rest of the Dims STILL trying to find SOMETHING/ANYTHING to blame their own failure on.

if they want,I can refer them to someone to help get the malware off their computer

better yet....they should learn how to avoid it in the first place

this is grade 3 stuff...actually probably grade 1

Russians reading this nonsense probably get the hiccups from laughing so hard

Prozac for all the dems

the only thing comparable to their failure would be the inability to put a cork in Mr Vesuvius
