I like it. I like that he is making a fool of Obama. Even if he wasn't doing that,
I would still like what he is doing. He is making good on his word. Trump is
keeping production and jobs in the States. I have never paid as much attention
to politics as I did during your last election. We sure do live in interesting times!

I am proud of the people of the United States of America who voted for
Donald J. Trump. I hope you are all very pleased with the work
that he continues to do on your collective behalf.

Thank you Desert Rose! I say I paid more attention than ever before but even at that I often feel like I am lagging behind the news feed... and it could be because I don't own a television so no nightly news, nor do I really read the newspapers on any kind of regular basis! Sometimes I learned of major world events simply from people reporting them here. I know, haha I am out of touch in some ways! Politics never made much sense to me, the people I vote for almost never win, and I don't seem to know the type of people who vote for the people who do win!

The forced migration of Muslims really started to make me sit up and take notice of what is going on on the world stage. Our previous prime minister here spoke about the Muslim problem, but no sooner did I become aware of that than he was voted out and the new guy voted in seems to be one of these people that thinks you can appease the people who claim their aim is world domination through forced submission! That is one of the reasons I became a Trump supporter. All the PC rhetoric was disturbing.

My daughter showed me a video of Bill Clinton giving his state of the union address in 1995, where he got a standing ovation after speaking out on the illegal aliens' problem and how sterner measures needed to be taken to deport such illegals and keep them out of the country in the first place. Still at least a million each year enter illegally.

Compare to now=== you get called a racist because you want to protect your borders and your citizenry from the abuse of the system by illegals! It is mind boggling! And stopping this forced migration of Muslims... some of the videos I have seen coming out of Germany and Switzerland or Sweden were disturbing, harrowing, and it just seemed like a huge invitation to bring social unrest and uncontrolled chaos, so putting a halt to the forced migration into our western countries seemed like a really very good idea to me. Hating Islam does not make me a racist either! Haha I have had people say that to me and I just tell them that Islam is not a race. Islam is Satanic. No Christian should shrink from that truth.

So I really appreciated people like Mitspa who kept threads going for months leading up to the actual vote, and he was such a stalwart supporter and believer in Donald Trump, I am sorry I did not pay even more attention than I had. I was surprised when Donald Trump won. Around that same time I started being introduced to videos like the Clinton Chronicles and Clinton Cash and other such exposes on the long-standing corruption in that quarter that has gone on for decades, and it was again shocking what I learned and it just made me love Donald Trump all the more. :D

You sound a lot like me in ways. I don't really watch tv too much. We have Netflix, but not regular tv so my husband and I don't watch the news either. I do hear a little snippet on the
radio if I'm running errands that day.

I also get a headliner notification on my smartphone if I take the time to read it. We don't take the paper either. Some of my friends will shake their head because when it comes to the latest news that circulates the air waves, I haven't heard a thing about it. :)

I started paying a little more attention when voting day was getting closer. I would look up things on the internet to find out what was happening when I'd here something from friends. So much garbage was being said though, it's the worst presidential election that I've ever seen here in the US.

So.....that's one advantage of not keeping tabs on the daily news and another is that I keep my peace of mind and don't worry each day about whatever the latest scandal was or what the polls were showing during the election.

I agree, we have to regulate not only who comes into our countries, but also what percentage of immigrants are allowed in as well.

When the twin towers were hit, you'd thing the politicians would want to protect our country even more. For some reason though, over the past few years we seem to be embracing them and bowing down to them and welcoming them into our country. In California they even have classes for young children teaching them that Islam is a positive religion. It's like a malaise has spread over the land and everyone's being infected.

Right, Islam is not a race, it's a religion. That would be like saying Christianity is a race.

I'm so thankful that Trump wants to put a stop to so much immigration too. It sure gives us hope that we will see some positive changes here. And hopefully Trump will have some positive influence on some of the other nations of the world.

Sorry to hear about your new prime minister. :( Maybe he and Trump will form a friendship. One can hope! Thank for the virtual hug. So cute! :)
