I have never been a fan of hers, but there have been some occasions i've seen the show and she was often quite funny. She's known as a down to earth, generous person as well.
Now, in the past, i have used the name Ellen Degenerate, but seeing how spiteful and un-Christian it sounds, by hearing another say it, i regret it ever coming out of my mouth.
When Christ allowed himself to be beaten, tortured, mocked and murdered he was thinking of Ellen DEGENERES just as much as he was thinking of YOU.
Why is it that we read, and often quote, the parts of the bible where horrible sinners are respected and forgiven, and at times even PROTECTED by Christ, yet turn around and speak about the unsaved with such animosity? Do terms like 'degenerate', 'low caliber' and 'a nobody' sound like Christ, or like the people that brought a sinful woman to Christ, with stones in their hands, and an agenda to trip up Christ in the law?
