Does it matter if a Christian is Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Anglican, Pentecostal, etc.? What really matters is if we Christians are willing to submit to Christ and let the Holy Spirit lead us to be one with God.

How sad that in all the above mentioned denominations there are groups that actively strive to lead their churches to conform with the world.

The one group that Jesus was harsh to were the hypocrite priests. Priests and pastors who lead people into accepting secular worldly values, and excuse slipping away from God's word will have much to answer for on That Day.

Thanks bro, now I know not to go there. I have an uncle in California who told me 15 years ago that out of all the people who ever lived, less than 400k will make it to heaven. I thought he was crazy. I'm starting to rethink my position.

According to the title of the thread, the fact that they are a married lesbian couple I'd say that the denomination that they belong to is the least of their problems. . As long as they are justifying and embracing a same-sex life style, they remain separated from God and are on their way to condemning judgement, unless they repent of it.

What Scripture did he pull that number out of?

Here is a number so great from JUST the Great tribulation that NO ONE COULD NUMBER.
[h=3]A Multitude from the Great Tribulation[/h]9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.
Amen.”

Just because they wear the name Baptist does not make them Baptist. And they are not Baptist.
This is one of the negative aspects of the fact that all Baptist churches are independent. There is no denominational authority.
Therefore any local assemble may wear the name Baptist no mater what they teach or practice.
Many Baptist churches refuse to fellowship with others who wear the name Baptist because of such sinful practices.

Yes, there will be more saved during the Tribulations than those raptured, The Bible does tells us that.
