Know that NO ONE's theology is 100% correct, not yours, not your pastor's, not Bonhofger's, not Franklin Graham's.

People miss so much of the wonderfulness of the Bible when they are so convinced they are correct.

maybe. But I would argue that people are more likely to use the Bible to bash people over the head when they are convinced they are correct.

People put their faith in the pastor and church leaders than they do in God.

Theyre still my friends and don't claim authority in my life. If they tried to uninvited the friendship would be reconsidered. Why is it that you feel the need to try and trip me up?

So a pastor shouldn't be salt and light to the government, toward the political process? Taking that to a logical end it sounds like we should all go live in caves and avoid the evil people of the world, like some sort of hyper secondary separation ideology.

Pray for kings and all that are in authority... - 1 Timothy 2:2. Sounds politically involved to me. :)

I disagree that they are "more likely". I believe WAY too many people use the Bible (sometimes as a crutch) when they are unwilling to have a conversation and understand they may be wrong. PEople just don't want to be wrong. They will go to great lengths avoid having their world shaken and possibly be proven wrong via intelligent conversation that is Bible and God centric.
