Romans 13:4Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

4 For government is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For government is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.

Murder is against the law and criminals are allowed to talk to a preacher before their death sentence is completed.
This verse is well known. I thought about it when I wrote the post. Yet it does not say kill anyone.

Your comparing apples to oranges.
In one we have a spiritual struggle that has end time implications. I am not for letting them free, ever. They are saraficing and blowing up infants for there misguided belief's.
The other, while also a spiritual issue, is often isolated regarding the individuals emotional and psychological issues. They generally should be allowed second chance. Seeing a priest before they die is not what I am referring to. And even if it was, you think magically all of a sudden, that is going to make most of them change their minds or hearts about certain things? You don't think with all the months and years waiting for that moment they have not already come to some conclusions of their own?

Yes and neither did I say kill anyone. A guy like in my post who was caught red handed to say, killing this mom and child. Government does it job as punishment should fit the crime. Of course let our law in order do its job with court and forensic science. If mental issues is proven then no they should not be punished for doing what they don't understand themselves doing. The time we are given on this earth can be shortened but not prolonged further than God gave us. Eye for an eye to me is great law and order. But yes outside of law and order we should try to forgive and this is why Jesus tells us to remember all who are in prison. People on death row have way than enough time to seek God or not. God may save us from our sin but not always from sins consequences. Obviously I was being very blunt about my opinion but I believe strongly on law and order and expect for the law to do everything to the guidelines of innocent until proven guilty. Just like people are saying killing a cop should be a death sentence. Good idea to me. Why? Because maybe just maybe it will make people think twice. Same with all pre meditated murder. Terrorist compared to thug who also murders men, woman, and children. I see no difference murder is murder no matter how many they kill. You must of irrationally came to the conclusion I meant kill on the spot but no like I said with our justice system they have well than enough time to seek God. This is the reason God gave us government to protect us from evil within and without our borders.

My point is God gave a certain amount of time to give our lives to him. We can make it shorter by our choices or choices of others. This is why it's crucial to seek God now because we are not guaranteed tomorrow. If a guy who doesn't know the Lord decides to go and commit a crime deserving death as a consequence then their sin filled choice that by law could grant them the death penalty has been made in his mind. He has volunteered to possibly choose that fate. His victims families will carry that pain forever.
