I must have missed the part of the Bible where it tells us to only help Christians
I missed the part in the Bible where it says to be dumb and let killers in your front door. And while you're at communicable disease.

I think this was poorly thought through, there is a court order in place now to suspend the orders so that a couple of hundred people in transit can enter the USA without problems.

I also see that the liberals and enemies of Brexit and so on in UK are now attacking our Prime Minister for not instantly condeming the banning orders put in place, same lot who went on anti-trump demos no doubt. Quite rightly the Prime minister is quoted as saying that what the president of America does has nothing to do with us but the policy being taken is not the way we are going to go.

And we are fine with that. Prepare you guest room, and buy extra groceries this week for your visitors. We won't complain a bit.

My Niece and her Husband work in the US and have their own home there. She is part Spanish and is wondering if
she will get lumped together with the Mexicans and get kicked over the wall. She goes by her single name NUNEZ!!
Are they here legally? Then they already know they have no problem.

So if there was ban on Christians will there be a massive protest from liberals and the rest of America to fight for our rights? I highly doubt it. I never understood why the left hates Christianity so much but support Islam and Muslims to the fullest?
It is easy to understand. The left is with satan, and most of them do not even know it. Talk about being deceived. Satan is laughing all the way to the (soul) bank.

I just wondered if anyone read the link Lynn posted.
Here are a few of the examples. On it.

On a case by case assessment, individuals need to be vetted.
But an outright blanket ban, especially where the legal status
of a person has already been established, is just plain wrong.

Internationally, confusion turned to panic as travelers found themselves
unable to board flights bound for the United States. In Dubai and Istanbul,
airport and immigration officials turned passengers away at boarding gates
and, in at least one case, ejected a family from a flight it had boarded.

Seyed Soheil Saeedi Saravi, a promising young Iranian scientist, had been
scheduled to travel in the coming days to Boston, where he had been awarded
a fellowship to study cardiovascular medicine at Harvard, according to
Thomas Michel, the professor who was to supervise the research fellowship.

But Professor Michel said the visas for the student and his wife had been
indefinitely suspended.

“This outstanding young scientist has enormous potential to make
contributions that will improve our understanding of heart disease,
and he has already been thoroughly vetted,” Professor Michel wrote
to The New York Times.

A Christian family of six from Syria said in an email to Representative
Charlie Dent, Republican of Pennsylvania, that they were being detained
on Saturday morning at Philadelphia International Airport despite having
legal paperwork, green cards and visas that had been approved

Shortly after noon on Saturday, Hameed Khalid Darweesh, an interpreter
who worked for more than a decade on behalf of the United States government
in Iraq, was released. After nearly 19 hours of detention, Mr. Darweesh began
to cry as he spoke to reporters, putting his hands behind his back and miming
handcuffs.

Human rights groups reported that legal permanent residents of the United
States who hold green cards were being stopped in foreign airports as they
sought to return from funerals, vacations or study abroad. There was
widespread condemnation of the order, from religious leaders, business
executives, academics, political leaders and others. Mr. Trump’s supporters
offered praise, calling it a necessary step on behalf of the nation’s security.

It is way to early to make any permanent judgement's. This is exactly the double mindedness of the left. It was okay to implement the health care plan, knowing all the flaws. It was promised things would be worked out over time,
But because it is Trump, they want perfection from the out set.
BTW, isn't it telling that the immigration police are actually out right disobeying the federal court order issued last night? I am not suggesting that is fine, just hat they are the ones on the ground.'
They know exactly what is going on.
You can't put them in a position of enforcement ans then handcuff them, which is exactly what Obama did.
How glad are they to see him gone ?

if you guys haven't figured out Trump yet you might not ever. He is always gonna make it so he can negotiate on our behalf from a position of strength.

There you go!
Anyone who has negotiation skills 101 knows you start out aggressive and ask for more then you want.
Liberals can not imagine the way of the world. To them everything is a win-win, lets be warm and fuzzy. Sorry, the world outside the USA does not work like that.

That's why we have a vetting process.

Since 9/11 80% of terrorist attacks have been by American citizens. That's a fact. FB_IMG_1485662071149.jpg

This has nothing to do with immigrants and everything to do with ISIS. (Yes, I admit many people from the 7 countries involved did get caught.)

But if you look carefully at the countries, notice the ones that are missing.

Indonesia - the world's largest Muslim population and no terrorists
Saudi Arabia - lots of Wahbi terrorists, but hey, oil rules
Jordan
Turkey
Afghanistan

And others! You Americans should be happy that someone is finally dealing with terrorism in the Middle East. I sure wish Canada was!
They are saying that those that someone would expect to be on that list have Trump motels,IDK.

Whereas I heartily agree America needs to be extra careful with the refugees coming out of the Middle East, he has now caused serious problems for immigrants already vetted -- some for helping us in that part of the world.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/28/...llenges-to-trumps-immigration-order.html?_r=0

This is the Trump that scared me.

So what...a few exceptions....it only take one with weaponized sall pox.....we are under no obligation to accept anyone into this country....
