If they agree to follow our laws and not try to impose their laws upon us and if they mean us no harm, I for one am fine with them being here. They should be able to practice their false religion and worship their false god and prophet in peace and harmony and without fear of oppression. The one true God of heaven, our father and Lord will deal with this idolatry in His own time.

Sadly, their countries of origin don't allow minority religions the same courtesy of worship as we do.
That's a lot of ifs, and not coming together with reality. What if they mean each other harm, and not us?

:)So I take It by your response that the recent executive order was unfair to those that were already vetted.
This is so silly. If they were already vetted, their paperwork was checked out and they were free to go on their way. We all watched that process on TV.

If they are already vetted and now detained in other countries, then their papers will be checked out and they will be allowed to board the planes.

All this is no more than TSA started doing at our own airports after 911... it's just increased security.

I just hope building a wall gives true security to us and Is not just for appearances sake.

20 years sounds like a long time and while the US Is coming up with the funds, priorities of where the funds that are brought In from the monies can change and start going to other programs other than going only to building the wall.
Hmm(twenty years.)
Again, we are paying far more in caring for these people each year than the cost of the wall.

I live in Philly. Seven "return to senders" last weekend. And I mean just at our airport. What is silly is you being so absolutely sure what you see on TV is all you need to know.

Considering how many tunnels they make, the wall itself seems silly. Kind of like our gun-control laws. It does stop honest people from buying guns, but it's not like it does squat for the criminal element. The wall won't stop the criminal activity. They already have tunnels. So the only ones we stop from arriving from Central Americans are the ones who want to work and have a better life. BUT all those drugs, all those children used as slaves? They keep coming. Central America's chief export.

Part of the reason my vote is in yellow. It's not what he's done in the last two weeks. It's his overall simplistic schemes that so few have bothered to ask the obvious question -- will they work?

Fear has gripped this land, and yet look who we chose to resolve the issues. Someone who didn't get the obvious when he signed an EO. He also doesn't get the stupidity of a wall!

Obviously there was a short-fall in their vetting, or they would have been doing the happy dance as you saw others doing on TV.

The effective use of barriers to create choke points, has always proven to be a great force multiplier in any defense.

The wall isn't meant to be impenetrable, any wall is made to redirect the invaders to obvious weak spots, so we can concentrate our enforcement there.

What about the practicing muslims that are vetted or their children born In the United States that are law abiding? Is It okay for them to be here, and If not, what Is the reason to have them deported?

No deflection please, please proof read your post before submitting It to see If the question I posted was answered and not deflected.:)Thanks.
You don't understand my position, the core of islam is to kill and destroy all this is not islam. I don't want them anywhere on this planet.

Are they being banned? No.
Are they now receiving a much more efficient and effective job of being vetted? Yes.

If you had a babysitter someone told you was background checked...... and I looked a little deeper, and showed you they actually had a conviction for child molesting.... Would your answer be that they should still babysit your kids because they got by on that first check? The first check was not as thorough as mine, and their conviction was not discovered at that time. But, that is good enough for the safety of your children?

I think not.

You guys are walking into the lions den.

Trump banned people from 7 countries he has no financial interestes in.
The last x terrorist attacks come from countries like Saudi which he banned
no one from.

This is a blunt instrument to get attention, but do very little, and make it
look like he is against people for their nationality and not idiology.

Islam is a problem because of corruption and justifying it through dogma,
not dogma itself.

But then maybe this is just a bit too sophisticated for you folk.
If you polarise your country, it will divide within, and fall because of
it, not become "great" which is a worldly ideal anyway.
Avin' a giggle?

I might only be speaking for myself, but I know that I feel so much better that a fine British gentleman, such as yourself, is so knowledgeable about world politics that he can set we poor, dumb, Americans straight. My goodness, how did we ever last this long on our own without the superiority of the British to help guide us?

I am of course overlooking the fact that the UK has the highest density of surveillance systems in place...and I am overlooking that portions of your fine island are overrun with Islam so prolifically that those areas are considered sovereign and have instituted sharia law. I overlook these things because I have no doubts you have some perfectly rational explanation for them that you will give to me. I also know you will speak s-l-o-w-l-y and use simple words because I, as an American, am far too stupid to understand the machinations of intellectually superior people, such as yourself.

What you're doing is intentional. I already proved it wasn't a "short-fall" in the other post. You're as bad as the far-left with your propaganda-pretending-to-be-open-minded.

BTW, I have read the EO. Have you guys?

There is no mention of the names of any countries anywhere in that EO. There are requirements, specifications, and qualifications written there. Those seven countries "flag" on those specifics. I have to assume, without more information, that others did not.

Pffft. No. Willie is trying to get you to think just like him, and skip reality all together.

You certainly do "assume, without more information"... and quite a lot of that too.

In what post did you "prove" anything? I went back and looked, and found nothing.

Five minutes in Iran telling them you are a Christian would put it into context for you. Four minutes if you said you were Jewish.
