Are you that easily swayed by someone's opinion about a product?

He's got a point. I'm sure that millions of people went out and bought an ivanka purse. Lol. What this brought to mind for me was the countless times Obamas words emboldenened more violence.

Chavis of Congress (as reported by FNC this morning) has requested an Ethics Investigation concerning this issue.......so I guess folks will have to stay tuned....

Conway or President Trump himself..............their comments are to be reviewed by the Ethics Committee....or, that is what Chavis wants

It may very well be a violation because it is illegal to use a political platform to endorse a business

Hopefully even you Democrats will soon wake up to how damaging to America your Party has become. This obstructionism is exactly what you were deriding the Republicans for when Obama was there. And now you are applauding it as the way for a member of congress to behave.

She use her political platform to endorse a product which is a violation. I'm only asking that she obey the law

You mean like those fashion designers who seek to attach their names to dressing the first ladies ? That kinda endorsing ?

Wearing someone's product is not necessarily an endorsement. Otherwise Shoes for Crews needs to send me a check for wearing their shoes to work everyday

Let's hope Nordstrom's and TJ Max restock their new found shelf room with work boots. Then again, this would probably discourage the only shopper base they have left. Hmmm ... what to do ?
that and apparently purses now. Lol

while you are at it, go ahead and ask the courts to uphold the clearly written travel ban that OBAMA used and made the lists of nations.

I'm told that it's unconstitutional. If this is the case then the courts made the right decision

This reminds me of Jackie Kennedy's pill-box hat. Considering how rich the Kennedys were and how rich Jackie's family was, I wouldn't be surprised to learn there was investment in the company that made that hat.

I do remember Mom did buy one for that reason.

It seems to me the law says that something like this is considered harassment and illegal, IF the person who does it has some kind of sway over me. (A boss, a cop who could give me a ticket if I don't, a doctor treating me, etc.) Kellyanne has no sway over me.

All in all, I find that of all the things that happened yesterday, THIS is the big question of the day.

How easily we are influenced by people who do sway us with absolutely nothing to hold over us -- the media!

I don't even care if she did. The whole ethic code thing is mostly a joke until they pass a steadfast rule for the lying presidents do. I don't know what the rule would be. I would leave that to others. I do know this; if it was a law or code with any teeth in it, Obama would have been impeached, or fined to the point of having no income, or muzzled to the point where he would be allowed to make only one public statement (of any kind) per month.

This is what is so refreshing about Trump. I have not heard him lie yet. Look at the bottom of this post for what my favorite bible verse is. That should tell you how much I deplore liars.

Which is why I dislike almost all politicians, most drug addicts and all ruthless business people.

Could be a problem if Conway profits directly from the sale of the product. If we are going to investigate her then we had better hire a lot of investigators and comb through the activities of all the members of congress and the senate. What of the honored members who don't pay their taxes and fail to disclose off shore profits from "investments"? I wonder if John Kerry made any money off of the Heinz empire owned by his wife?
