An undocumented mother of four who has lived in Denver, Colorado, for 20 years took refuge in a church Wednesday after U.S. immigration officials rejected her request to remain in the country.
In an interview with ABC News on Wednesday, Jeanette Vizguerra, 45, said she skipped her scheduled check-in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement earlier out of fear that she would be deported.

If she is legal and or in the legal processing then nothing to worry about.

I found the comments left by others encouraging. It seems people have finally awoken to the godless and lawless pandering by the left and the liberal press, that they try to pass off as "love". First Unitarian Society? No surprise there.

If the police have an arrest warrant, A church has no grounds to provide sanctuary to any suspect.

I wonder what, if any, the consequence of "harboring an illegal immigrant" is/are.

Jesus said to render unto Caesar what is Caesars and unto God what is Gods. Pay your taxes and obey the law for they are for your own good.

She has done wrong for 20 years so we should just it's ok? Sad situation but it's not like ICE is going to hang her or put her in front of a firing squad.

What you say IS very true Indeed but I sense Incompassion.

Mercy rejoices over judgement.

Judgment requires imprisonment. Mercy forgives and sends her back. How much do you think she as cost the taxpayers who are here legally?

Again that's her fault not mine or yours. She put them in that position.

They should have nipped this illegal immigrant thing in the bud a long time ago. I just can't wrap my mind around allowing an illegal immigrant to live in the US for 20 years, have four children, then all of the sudden say, sorry! You are being deported back to Mexico. The whole thing sounds like a no-win situation to me!

That's a pretty racist thing to say. I don't have a speck of guilt bout anything. I'm about as color blind an individual as you'll ever find. I want ALL to be my family in Christ. You said you have compassion for all Americans. The whole point is THEY AREN'T AMERICANS! The woman I posted is. And more black, and Hispanic Americans are affected by illegal immigration than white Americans. That's a reality that doesn't sit well with those on the left.

Same as you and her.

The difference is that I actually recognize that enough to realize that while G-d had every right to send me to hell and kill me. He didn't. While judgement of wrongs is good. G-d is will to forgive instead of pass judgement.

As Christians, we should look to redeem and save people from judgement. If there's a way to redeem illegal immigrants we need to look for that and yes that even means forgiving debts... similar to how G-d did with us. Likewise, with refugees. Christians should look to redeem and save people, not pass judgement so eagerly.

P.S. - Roger...considering you say "For the cause of Christ" in ending your posts... you really should think hard about that... and those who have "sinned" (done wrong)..
