Don't forget that John McCain was broken by the North Vietnamese in the prison camp known as the Hanoi Hilton. John was subjected to severe psychological torture and will never regain his mental capacities. I respect what he went through and what he lost in Vietnam but he is not reliable as a Senator.

John is the establishment that Trump is attempting to dismantle in DC.

John McCain is a true American hero. And now he needs to just shut up.

What John McCain really means is that the Republican party as he knew it is in disarray. He's making a fool of himself by taking his message to foreign lands ... because he has no audience here. It will avail him nothing. Simply put, John McCain can't accept that the page has been turned on American politics. He's a has been.

I'd respect McCain if he'd just acknowledge he's a democrat.

Orrr ... if he apologized to Jane Fonda. I'm not sure if what he's doing and saying abroad is all that different from what Hanoi Jane did long ago ? Trying to undermine the gov't is trying to undermine the gov't ... no matter what one's "cause". I find it deeply disturbing.

IMHO. If you're an official of the US government (any federal employee) and you go on a negative rant about the government while in any foreign country, you should resign your position immediately. Save your negative rants for the homeland.

I'd say the country wouldn't had become such a mess if McCain had been elected back in 2008.

Too many US officials, on every da** level is trashing the gov't, the intelligence, the POTUS, etc, both at home and abroad...it has become the national has-to-do.

Well, of course an establishment guy like McCain would be in Germany talking some trash right now.
Germany is a mess, they're starting to swing back toward nationalism and away from Merkel, and the anti-Merkel crowd is looking to America, and Trump, for inspiration to take their country back from the brink of madness.

So of course we'd see some of our "establishment guys" like McCain head over there to deliver speeches, and tell the Merkel crowd to ignore Trump. Trump is the inspiration for their opposing party. McCain isn't trashing Trump to hurt the U.S., he's trashing Trump to hurt the German populist movement... he's over there doing his best to wreck THEIR country.

This isn't just about America.
America isn't the only country fighting for common sense, sanity, and freedoms.
The EU is getting close to completely wrecking Europe... and a LOT of Europeans want OUT.

I think the only turmoil we'll see for a while in 1st world countries is going to be INTERNAL.

Many countries have populist movements to take their countries back from the idiots who've been driving them into the ground.
And just like Brexit and the Trump Presidency...the other side isn't going to give up power easily.
They're going to turn everything into a huge mess rather than relinquishing power.

As do I. There's no excuse for it. McCain has lost any semblance of respect he might have had.

Good for McCain. I like him. I wish more congressmen and women would stand up to this incompetent, thin skinned, narcissistic fool.

Maybe, but I think he is wondering when Trump is going to get down to buisness and become the LEADER of the Republican Party, and get those guys 'n' girls in Congress off of their butts and go to work on the REAL ISSUES facing our Nation. That appears to be his message, and, if it is, then he may well have a point.

Spending time trashing the Media may be "must see TV," and trashing that Actress, can't remember her name, or trashing Mark Cuban may be self satisfying, but it ain't going to get the job done concerning the real issues facing us in my opinion.

I think he should call the Leaders of the Republican Party from the House and Senate to the White House, put them in a room, and tell them to get busy creating a UNIFIED proposal concerning the replacement of Obamacare, and how to deal with our out of control Tax Codes.............then get those through Congress via the Nuclear Option, signed into Law, and start looking around at other issues...........ISIS, National Defense (rebuilding of our Military), and FOR SURE our crumbling Infrastructure.............

The longer he/they wait to get down to business, the greater the chance they will lose Seats in the '18 Mid-Term Elections, and possibly lose the Majority, which will greatly handcuff Trump and his Agenda.

The Republican Congress has been pretty much useless since 2008...........in my opinion
