There was a great deal on controversy added to the thread as many wanted to dethrone Pastor Joel Osteen from the leadership.
Much criticism was made of Osteen's style and use or lack of use of Scripture yet no one offered any alternatives.
During last evenings exchange, the anti-Osteen crowd got on the edge of violence and were obviously the perpetrators of this fine family thread.
The pro Osteen crowd was promoting the Lakewood Church services but found an enemy in anti-Osteen rumblers.
Founder of the thread AllenW says the pro Osteen crowd will be back promoting the Lakewood church, using a different approach.
