and as far as people in the military supporting this mental midget.....not surprising as there were people in the military who also thought Obama was a good idea. This is no gauge of legitimacy or mental/emotional stability.

One of my friends to be specific. He served in Afghanistan. We were discussing this on Facebook and his exact words were.... if you think people should be forced to stand for the anthem then you have no idea what we were fighting for and you don't understand what Freedom really is

It's called respect. And He is fighting for the freedom that we are not MADE to stand.

And if one doesn't stand to respect, then you had better have a backbone.

And fans have freedom in the U.S. to stop buying tickets to their games.

I stand for the anthem but if other people choose not to then that is their personal choice. I think some have religious objections because they feel like it's idolatry

It is about, Colin disrespecting YOUR friend by refusing the fact that he put his LIFE on the line for Colin to have the freedom to shit in the face of your friend.

But you have no issues gaslighting those who have the opinion that the NFL should not have enforced this behavior from one of it's key employees? We should be tolerant of this behavior against our deep seated belief? Just trying to understand.

There may not be a rule but it looks like the ones who refuse make themselves out to be unemployed pariahs! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Your trooper friend might find himself in the same boat if he doesn't respect the flag and constitution he has apparently hook or by crook sworn to protect! Lol

My buddy who served in Afghanistan actually had a valid point. Hypothetically if we forced people to stand for the anthem then what exactly were they fighting for?
