Well for one I dont listen to it as much as in past years and go back to the book? I dont allow music to affect my faith nor how i treat others. I grew up in the hip hop culture. All rap is not filth nor does all rap degrade women. You're telling people to go back to the scriptures yet you know little about the music you are criticising. As I said before you can hate it if you want that's your choice

Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 3:19 - Repent therefore and turn to God, so that your sins may be blotted out, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Let's face it - people like that style of music because it appeals to the allure of the flesh. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life - 1 John 2:16. But. call it 'art' and it's 'all good'.
People are offended that God is God.

Sorry,Im going to be hated for this one. The vast majority of rap is total garbage. You can put your struggle in terms other than constant M Fing and worse and talking about women as things to be used. You back this you're backing the same attitude Islam has for women. The junk will rot the brain. Now let the stoning begin....
    I like that.
Ephesians 4.29-30, is that God's personal opinion you are referencing!
    Thank you.

If you're being honest you'd agree with my comment. Very few rap songs do not have language and put down women in it.If you can find a decent rap song, fine. For the most part secular music is filth anyway.

The Secret Service should arrest Snoop Doggie Dude and the Attorney General should prosecute him for a public death threat against the President of the U.S. That, by the way, IS a Felony!

But, they won't.................afraid to fight it out in Court........because Dawggie's Lawyers will argue the First Amendment. Even though the First Amendment does not PROTECT people from being punished for Felony offenses.

They can try to press charges but I don't think it will hold up in court. I guess it will be up to the judge to decide if pointing a gun at a parody of Trump constitutes a threat

I'm not sure his music video "promotes" gun violence. I mean, do first person shooter games promote violence? If you ask adults 10-20 years ago the answer was "yes". Since studying humor behavior and the affects of violent games, they (professionals) have concluded gamers are not more likely to commits acts of violence... some studies suggest they are even less likely to do it as counter-intuitive as it might sound.

(This isn't a defense for him or his music by the way. I don't like it whatsoever, but just because I don't like it doesn't mean I'm going to say it "promotes" violence.)

Let's just say for example Ted Nugent was the maker of it. First off, he would be crucified in the media. There'd be 15 threads made by the 3 usual suspects on this forum calling for his head. There'd be a congressional investigation and then a blue ribbon confessional committee convened to investigate this "hate crime". His moms house would get burned to the ground and someone would kill his cat and leave it on his porch swing with a threatening note. His children would be threatened in school etc etc ad naseaum

The Processionals? That can be a scary term.
Whats going on is a desensitizing of what is good and normal in our eyes. Good thing God gave us the Bible for what is Truth and Light

Look at movies and shows from the 50's and 60;s. Music for the most part was positive. TV had good positive family shows. Very innocent TV shows. Darn things are so innocent for today's standards that they are hard to watch.

Now days most everything is about murder ,killings, lust, cheating, disrespect, gay lifestyles, dysfunctional family's, profanity, stressful situations , etc. This is now the New Normal. Thats what the entertainment industry wants us to believe. The bar keeps on being set lower. Same sex marriage. transgender is normal. Whats next, Marriage between people and animal?

Lots of what is going on the world calls as being Progressive? Taking a Biblical view. This is pure darkness at work
