Don't take this wrong, but wasn't Hitler's goal to rule over Europe. Sounds to me like someone has figured another way to accomplish the same goal. I think you Brits were wise to leave.

an EU army. Britain refused the idea.

It seems they are still pushing for it and with the UK no longer in opposition, they want it even more.

What other countries outside the EU may not realise, is that the UK was the voice of reason
within the EU. Now that we are fed up with them and are leaving, that voice of reason
has gone. Let's hope other EU countries become the restraining hand, if not - then watch
Europe closely.

I must admit I never really understood the comments about different classes of
political sways, far right, right, left, far left, liberal, socialist etc.

I don't hold to any particular one either, I just know what I think. Lol

I'm not savvy on all things Europe, but from what I see the EU is a really great way for incompetent countries to be bailed out by competent countries. Ya'll call the incompetent country Greece. We call our incompetency Detroit! The faster the incompetent ones catch on to no one is going to bail them out again, the quicker they realize it's time to learn competency again. (We haven't taught Detroit that yet. Instead more cities are headed for complete incompetency, or are already there, like my city Philly.)

Its so true, most of the bail out has been due to the low value of the Euro.
Thank goodness our politicians had the good common sense to refuse to accept the euro.
