It was an attack. The military denied doing it but have done it before. They need to get them out of power. No easy task it seems.

Really? Where have you been? History is replete with mans inhumanity toward his fellow man.

Yes it was an evil attack upon them. The use of Chemical wepons. :( Evil inventions,, I wonder where the inventors of Chemical wepons are now???

Romans 1:KJV
28 "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; {29} Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, {30} Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, {31} Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: {32} Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

ya, well it just seems like it's getting worse, the signs of the end the times, I know they have been happening, but it is like the days of Noah and with Isis and all, i just have this feeling that it's almost time to go home.

I think you're right. My pastor has been saying and preaching the same thing. I dont see how God will hold back much longer.

Yes,but it is has been increasing. History bears out that the 20th century has been the most violent in history.More death, war and destruction than any other.

Violence doesn't occur more now. Y'all just see it more on the news.

If you think that things are bad now, you might want to study the debauchery that has happening around the time of Jesus.

Relate today to the time of Noah.

Mt 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Sorry to sidetrack, but: Sources?
The world SEEMS worse because we hear all about it. When people didn't have PC's, smartphones, or even TV's, they didn't get to hear about war / terrorism and natural disasters from the opposite side of the globe, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Yes there are wars ... the bible almost starts up with a war
Yes there is disease ... the bible is full of treatments for diseases (mostly leprosy)
Yes there is terrorism ... by today's standards, wouldn't much of the OT be called terrorism?

- but back to topic....
It amazes me that human kind always uses what could have been good for evil. With all that could be done with scientific research, we choose to use it for bombs, gas and bio warfare :(

It's really not worse. The problem is schools don't teach history fully anymore. Man has always been evil continuously. (Gen. 6:5.) We're just getting more sophisticated at it.

Not really. You should check out first century history. They were better at it back then, even before the gun was invented.

... or the time of the Medieval age.
... or the time of America's birth.

That is my point. We need to get ready for the return of Jesus.
We are saved through belief in the death and resurrection of Christ who shed his blood for us. I often wonder exactly what ''getting ready'' actually means for people who say it'' The thief on the cross was as ready as he ever could be. Jesus promised him that he would be with him in Paradise. If any of us died right now we would be there as well

Better at it back then ?

Today one mans happy trigger finger could wipe mankind off the map. Never
before in the past, that a man could destroy our planet with mass extermination.

Russia is on the verge of testing a new hypersonic missile that could leave Western
militaries “obsolete,” according to analyst Tim Ripley. The new Zircon rocket is cap-
able of traveling at up to 4,600 miles per hour, a speed so quick that the missile is
“almost immune” to interception, according to Deutsche Welle.

Several UK newspapers reported on Zircon’s development in recent days, warning
that it would make even the most sophisticated U.S. and British warships—including
aircraft carriers—more vulnerable to attack.
