The bible is where we find the gospel of Christ, and salvation.

If you disbelieve one part of the bible, you undermine your own ability to trust God enough to fully believe the rest of the bible... including the parts that contain the gospel.

Thin Ice:

I've seldom met someone who disbelieved parts of the bible, and was still able to believe enough in God's sovereignty to accept the most important and difficult truths: the truth about his own sin, the truth about his sin separating him from God, and the truth of the blood atonement of Christ as a substitutionary payment for his sin.... and these are the truths needed for salvation.
Amen to that. In my younger days, I was one that would question all the answers. I finally realized that His ways are higher than my ways. Some of His ways are mysterious to us, and we would probably not understand the answers even if He did reveal everything to us. I now do not look around and ask God about other people and things so much. I just focus on His dealings with me. He has been so good, gracious, and merciful to me. I sense His love for me. To love Him back gives my soul rest, peace and joy.

I have mixed feelings as to whether or not it is good or safe for us to get into the heads of wicked people. That 'teacher' may inherit a curse for trying to get the little ones to do that very thing.

God turning from those who refuse Him makes complete sense. He created us, He provides for us, He does everything for us. People turning from Him and giving their praise and love to another is on level with your spouse flirting with others in front of you. It would clearly be wrong, and will clearly lead to consequences.

God is not a God of "freedom", He is a God of righteousness. Do what is RIGHT, not do what you want as long as you dont hurt anybody.

Absolutely. God gives freedom from sin, not freedom to sin.

A key to victory is knowing your enemy. I think it was Sun Tzu who said something like that, but I'm too tired to look it up now.
Although this might work for carnal warfare, I question the wisdom of it in spiritual warfare. We are new creatures in Christ. That necessarily changes things.

Human nature is a mother, but they will do great evil, and can pass it off to people that it is in the best interest for themselves,or humanity, and gain great support for it,which is what they will do concerning the approach of the beast kingdom, and in the beast kingdom.

There is no justification for cruelty in the eyes of God,but His ways are not the world's ways, and the world will not do it as God would do it.

Hitler passed it off on the people that going against the Jews would be a healing of the nation of Germany, and he blamed the Jews for the problems that had befallen Germany.

When leaders present something like that to the people, they will not look at the cruelty as bad,but will think it is something that has to be done, going against a certain group of people, for the welfare of their nation,or whatever situation it may be,that those people are in the way or true peace, true happiness, and a set back to the welfare of people, especially if the people they view as hindering are less, than the people they affect, but then of course everybody in the world wants to protect their own welfare, and can be cruel to do it,but leaders usually have a goal that the people of the country do not,and might not know the extent of the cruelty that will take place, not wanting it to really go that far going against the people that are the troublemakers, but leaders are corrupted worse by power, and control.

There is no justification for cruelty, but people can pass it off as being justified, and many people can get hurt, with the support of the people.

That is what will happen with the approaching of the beast kingdom, and in the beast kingdom, when the world comes together to try to achieve peace on earth, that they make it justifiable to the people that they must go against anybody that would disturb what they are trying to do to have, peace on earth, just like Hitler, and the world will support it,which the first justification the religion of Islam,in which they clash with the world, the second justification,Christianity,in which the world goes against them, and the third justification,Israel, but that is when God's fury will come up in His face, and He will put them down.

They will do the same as Hitler,or any other leader throughout history, that promoted the putdown of people that is necessary to promote their own benefit, for those people were the cause of their woes, and problems, and going against the grain for peace.

A person can justify the Holocaust without thinking themselves a bad person, and it depends on people's viewpoint on life, for while it was cruel, some might not think it is cruel, but a necessary evil, for the welfare of people, and peace, especially when the Jew is considered a stranger, and Germany the home of the Germans, and their land, and they viewed the Jew as a problem outside of Germany, which would have them justifying going against more Jews than what occupied Germany, which they were viewed as a problem by other nations besides Germany, like Russia.

Of course there is a better way to deal with people that are considered a threat to peace, and prosperity, but the world could take the violent way to deal with the problem, which a saint never takes that route, but then they have more than this earth, but a kingdom that is not of the earth, that no troublemaker can stain,or disturb the operation of that kingdom, the world only has the world,so their cruelty can get out of hand to protect the only place they can call home, especially when it affects their nation, and their people, and when the world comes together how it affects the world, for the people will believe that going against all people going against the grain of what they are doing trying to have peace,is justifiable, and will support the putting down of all people that would try to thwart that peace,by speaking out against the one world government, not supporting the unified religious system, but believing in a personal God exclusive to them, and anybody that would not support them trying to have peace on earth, and all will be terrorists.

Some people will justify the Holocaust,as many do today, and think Hitler had great ideas for a better world, even if it meant the extermination of certain people, but being high school children they would not think in such cruel terms to justify it like that as someone that is older,at least not the majority of them, and especially in America that allows all races, and religions,to be there.

Although I'm sure you were taught, in good faith, that 13 million Jews died in the holocaust, the official number has been continually dwindling over the years.

The last I read an Israeli scholar on the subject, he seemed quite certain it was actually somewhere under 4 million.
I believe the "official scholarly number" is under 4 million, while the "official popularized number" is around 6ish.
But that "official popularized number" certainly used to be much higher.
I think it was 20 million at one time.

Also, as these numbers keep changing, I wouldn't be surprised if they go up or down some more, and I have to apologize for giving a wrong number.

I'm not picking on the Jews, or you, or anyone else.
I'm just saying this number has continually decreased.
No, that number hasn't changed. There were 6 million Jews killed. The 7 million that were killed in the same way have merely been erased as an irrelevant piece of history.

Petition for appeal based on new evidence in the case of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Verses the Sanhedrin.
(
(
Jesus Christ of Nazareth ( The Sanhedrin
(
(
(
Defendant ( Plaintiff

This petition is to appeal the conviction of Jesus Christ based on new evidence that would prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that the charges themselves that were used to charge Jesus Christ of Nazareth were illegal according to the laws of the land at that time. Since Jesus Christ had no obligation or duty to obey an illegal law we move to have all charges against Jesus officially and legally removed and that he be proclaimed innocent. The new evidence in this case is as follows:

After World War 2 when the Nuremberg court was established they ran across a problem, At the time there were no laws that were written in Germany that would make the crimes of the Nazis illegal and any law they would write would be challenged under the grandfather clause. So when they wrote the Nuremberg Charter they made it a timeless document that when signed became the law of the land from the beginning of time unto the end. When Germany signed the document it became the law of the land not just in the few years before the signing of the Nuremberg charter but in the whole of history unto the dawn of time itself to the end time within the legal borders of Germany. When Israel signed the Nuremberg Charter it became the law of the land from the beginning of time unto the end, and was the law of the land during the trial of Jesus Christ of Nazareth verses the Sanhedrin. What makes this relevant is the Reichskonkordat, a concordant between The Nazi party and the catholic church signed by Eugenio, Cardinal Pacelli and Franz von Papen at the Vatican City, on July 20th, 1933 in article 16 which is an oath of loyalty that reads "Before God and on the Holy Gospels I swear and promise, as becomes a bishop, loyalty to the German Reich and to the State (Land) of etc." So God and the Holy Gospels are the cords that bound the German Reich to the Catholic church and gave the German Reich Legitimacy and gave the Nazi party a legitimate platform on the world stage to rise to power. The Holy Gospels focus on this case of Jesus verse the Sanhedrin, wherein Jesus was charged and convicted of a religious crime and sentenced to death. Thus establishing the moral legal and ethical precedent that not even the son of god is above the law and that even crimes against humanity were permissible, the catholic church gave their loyalty the Nazis party which tried to use this as a precedent to legally justify crimes against the jews by creating anti-Jew laws. How could this case not fall within the jurisdiction of the Nuremberg tribunal as Israel did sign the Nuremberg charter and it was the law of the land during the time of Jesus of Nazareth trial , predating the laws of Moses. When the Nuremberg Charter was signed by Germany all the laws that violated the Charter became null and void from their inception. When the Nuremberg Charter became the law of the land in Israel all laws of Moses that violated the charter became null and void in Israel from their creation. This includes the law against heresy that Jesus was charged with violating.
We petition that the act of charging Jesus of Nazareth with heresy was in and of itself a criminal act in violation of the Nuremberg Charter that was the law of the land at the time of the trial of Jesus of Nazareth. We petition that the right to appeal is a fundamental right that has been guaranteed to each defendant that they will have the opportunity for a second, impartial party to review the findings of fact and law of the trial court. In international law this right is found in International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 14, Section 5 - "Everyone convicted of a crime shall have the right to his conviction and sentence being reviewed by a higher tribunal according to law."
This is a legal petition to have the conviction and sentence of Jesus of Nazareth reviewed and a final ruling given as Jesus does have a legal right to an appeal. All who sign this petition proclaim that Jesus of Nazareth was innocent and wash their hands of this mans blood..

Actually according to the precedent of the Sanhedrin verses Jesus if Jesus that not even the son of god is above the law of moses and that you can kill someone for even the smallest of infractions would in fact in precedent totally Justify the Holocaust and exonerate the Nazis,,, and then came the Nuremberg Charter. Game over.

I suppose anything is possible.

I got my numbers from the top Israeli scholars, in Israel, who study this subject and maintain the libraries.

Perhaps the top Israeli holocaust historians have inaccurate data.

The teacher! IT needs to be taught a lesson.
Shouldn't the citizens in the village who are hateful idiots be given a dose of their own insensitivities? Just a dose. Maybe a dose or two.

6 million Jews were killed.

The rest were --
-- The "intellectuals" (people who questioned society, would speak out, artists, scholars, professors, and such.)
-- "Deviants." (You really didn't want to come out as LGBT back then.)
-- Real Christians. The ones willing to walk the walk as well as talk the talk. The ones willing to hide the Jews or help them escape. (Corrie Tan Boom's family is the most well known name.)
-- Anyone who dared to disagree.

It was horrendous what happened to the Jews. I think it is equally as horrendous for the rest too.

Gypsies! I forgot the gypsies! (Although they were considered "deviants" too.)

Of course! And I so get why they keep track of their people. We do the same thing today. London had an attack a week or so ago. What was one of the first things we learned? Americans were killed too. It is what we are inclined to notice.

I don't mean this whatsoever, but being Utah, I'd say the following just to anger the teacher:

Most Jews vote for liberals therefore I approve of the Holocaust. In fact, more should have died because today we see the continued damaging results of too many Jews voting for liberals.
Many forget they cried, "Let his blood be upon us and our children"

They have reaped that reward for the last 2 millennia........NOT that I support or promote what Germany did<---disclaimer

I have always prayed for the Jewish people and that God would open their eyes to the truth!

It's really not too advanced for high schoolers. I had to defend the rebels in the American Civil War when I was in seventh grade.

John Quincy Adams was our ambassador to the Netherlands when he was 14 years old.

I think it's a shame how society has taught people they aren't adults until they're 35. You're an adult when you think and act like an adult. (You qualify. ;)) If we expect people to think for themselves at an early age, they become adults at an earlier age.
I don't think defending the Confederacy and defending Hitler are QUITE the same thing.

Yes,Ive seen the movie of Corrie Ten Boom. I have forgotten her name already but there was a teacher who opened a school for Jewish children and helped them immigrate to other countries and saved there lives. She survived herself but still she risked her life. There were "righteous gentiles" that risked their lives. And as you said, others were murdered.

Far better to keep the slaves alive than to kill them? Better yet, protect the property. Slaves were too valuable to do extremely dangerous work, so they'd get the truly useless to do that -- the Irish.

I'd rather be dead than a slave, like southerners did slavery.
