Jesus death was not an accident

God planned it from the beginning

since the entire detachment of soldiers fell back at Jesus words 'I am He' it is apparent he could have taken care of it Himself but allowed the arrest which led to His sacrifice

as severe judgment fell on Jerusalem in 70 AD, I don't think we understand that God has never changed from the Old to the New.

The book of Revelation tells us that murderers, among others, will not be in heaven

God does not approve and He is patient, but He is not blinking at sin
of course not

but unless this lunatic gains faith and repents, God surely will have his "reward" ready.
Confinement to keep others safe is one thing, but in the end, only God can give the final judgement

Now what would have happened if Saul (later know as Paul) had been killed because of what he did initially huh?

Locked away, yes, but killed? Doesn't our God say we ALL deserve death?

The families of the church forgave him, what's keeping you from doing the same.

The family of the victim in the OP used national television to forgive his murderer. Their forgiveness probably lead the murderer to commit suicide.

The ending of this horrible thing ended in the city I live in. Yesterday they pinged his cell phone around here but I don't think they knew exactly where he was, I'm not sure. But all of this unfolded on a busy street and I saw on the news that people are there taking pictures and gawking. I don't get that.
