Interesting article,I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions on it....

GOPUSA – Low cut tops, sexual harassment, and Bill O’Reilly
that was a very good article. It pretty much echoed what most of us have been saying.... PLUS, it gave us another "accuser's" actual complaint about how severely she was sexually harassed....

she was LOOKED at.... or, to put it another way, he NOTICED the way she was dressing...

OH, the HORROR.

This has truly become a nation where the inmates are running the asylum.

again, I'm open to hear any complaint of true harassment... but, again, this ain't it....

he LOOKED at her....... for cryin in a bucket...:(

These women parade themselves around like little fluzies and then get offended when someone checks them out or whatever. People throw the bearing false witness thing around here like skittles but when it actual happens right in front of their eyes they tow the line like good little pc soldiers. Ladies, news flash...men are pigs and if you dress like a hooker you'll get some oinks

Hard to believe, but O'Reilly has been ousted from Fox News.

I guess Scripture really is truth. For all things there is a season.........and, apparently, his season is over.

Like him or hate him, or be indifferent (as I am), O'Reilly changed Cable News, and changed Fox News.

Tucker Carlson will be taking his slot in the nightly lineup.

I guess we will see how all of this plays out..........and where O'Reilly ends up. Given the money he has made over the years, I can not believe he will be left homeless and hungry...... :)

I guess you need to keep your nose clean if you want a high profile in that business.

Word on Drudge is that the conservatives are considering creating a new network.

Anyone actually KNOW anything about this? All I have heard is that one Black Snowflake got her feelings hurt because he referred to her as "Hot chocolate."
that's not appropriate in a professional environment

this is just hearsay but I hear none of his co-workers liked working with him due to his overbearing personality

I still find it weird that leering and ogling at your female coworkers is now considered perfectly okay conservative Christian behavior but being against it means that you're an overly sensitive liberal snowflake who probably dresses like a slut. I guess as a woman I'm just sensitive to this because a big chunk of the time it doesn't matter how modestly you try to dress, if a guy is a pig then he's going to bother you no matter what. It's disappointing to hear Christians making light of this and blaming
the women.

I have no idea if Bill is guilty of this behavior or not but I find the tone of the thread to be a bit off. As if leering at your coworkers is perfectly natural conservative Christian behavior and only a liberal snowflake would have a problem with it. Modern Christianity is strange.

I work in a restaurant for the past 12 years. No one is dressing provocatively. We've had two managers fired for sexual harassment. If you don't know how to act like a professional in the professional setting then perhaps you should find a different job

If how they dressed did not matter............then why even discuss if they were dressed modestly or seeking attention?

Women know men. They dress provocatively, they get attention. We(men) are visual creatures. And women KNOW this all to well. And they know they have society and popular opinion that men are just obstacles in their way.

Men know women. If we go into a room and act like a rooster with tons of security(money) and are confident, even if we look like the elephant man, we are going to woo 80% the women in the crowd. And we are prolly going to go for the one that showed us the most skin.

And then we get sued, and brought to court when the gold digger figured out that we were not really the rooster we were playing and the gold digger didn't get quite what she wanted.
I realize this user is banned, but I still want to respond to this post.

This was a place of BUSINESS, not a SOCIAL venue. If O'Reilly is strutting about like a rooster going after any woman at work, that is unseemly. He is the big money man.

Imagine this: you are a young woman, trying to get ahead in journalism. Not interested in a MARRIED man. The BIGGEST money maker for the network says "Hey good lookin'" or anything else seemingly benign.

Now what? I know what I would think "Oh my God- I do not want to flirt with a married man, that goes against every bone in my body. If I give him the cold shoulder and ignore him, it might mean my career." I'd feel very much threatened.

It is not so much the comment, but who it is coming from. A person with no power, let's say a married janitor says "Hey, good lookin,". I can ignore that. He can do nothing to me at all other than not clean my office well because I am not "friendly" and don't flirt back.

I'm not sure you realize how intolerant that sounds.

Yes, it is intolerant of married men trying to flirt with me. That is a bridge to far in my book, and most Christian women's books, I should think. I don't have banter with married men, period. I find it distasteful. Plus, if I were married, I would not want my husband flirting with women or saying anything at all to them about their appearances. I would be angry. So, I put myself in their position and behave the way toward married men the way I would want women to behave to my hypothetical husband.

I am absolutely intolerant of flirting with married men.

I could have been wrong. Perhaps it is just insecurity. LOL

How do you feel about men saying things to your wife? Is it cool with you for men to say thing about her appearance? How would you like her to respond to these men? If a man says to your wife "Hey, sugar, you sure are a good lookin' thing" would you like her to respond to him in kind? Laugh coquettishly? Say something complimentary to him?
