It might be cool to save my brain, have it frozen, and put it in another body later...
but ya know, what if my brain was never really that great to start with?

you guys missed it man

here is the real intention behind this genius doctor

"If we bring this patient back to life we will receive the first real account of what actually happens after death. The head transplant gives us the first insight into whether there is an afterlife, a heaven, a hearafter.

"If we are able to prove that our brain does not create consciousness, religions will be swept away forever. They will no longer be necessary, as humans no longer need to be afraid of death. We no longer need a Catholic Church, no Judaisim, and no Islam because religions in general will be obsolete.

"It will be a turning point in human history."

did the pretty pictures distract you?

nothing good there

Oh i see.... you know, it would be very sad if there is no life after death. Life would kind of have no meaning then. We almost have to have a religion. It is better to believe in something, rather to nothing. To know that we really are alone in a vast, endless eternity. that there is no higher force by our side. I honestly think that it would be better that that question remains unanswered.
to just cease to exist... that is a greater fear than anything imaginable.

Cryogenically frozen brains will be 'woken up' and transplanted in donor bodies within three years, claims surgeon

That's neat.
I wonder if they'll offer a swap out option?

If so, l know a few liberals l'd suggest this to.

mr Brad Pitt could not even save his marriage

of course he did get married to an unstable person

yeah, the Russian experiment and the monkey too now if you read the whole article

I really am kind of surprised nobody comments on the comments of this mad scientist regarding the afterlife

usual nobody actually read the article I guess

interesting what gets buried in scientific journals and obscure websites. I would like a pass to the dark web

If you played Infestation or similar game, you know that the night vision and silencer is the key to survival :)))

really?

I posted the article because of the overtones of the doctor's desire to prove the afterlife and do away with religion altogether

that is an interesting concern for a Christian and obviously not a good thing as in that type of activity originates from evil

I am sorry you enjoy judging so much. that does not bode well for you.

No, it is better to have truth.

We don't believe in God because it is "better than believing in nothing."

We believe in God because there is a God, and he is real, and present, and he has revealed himself.
He has revealed himself in creation, and in our conscience, and in our minds, and through the scripture, and through prophecy, and through miracles, and through the resurrection of his son, and through his continual communion with each of us.

How are hand me down brains supposed to give insight into the afterlife? These docs are getting waaay conceded.

Im not even a religious nutcase but more a practical thinker but even I can see the big void that is missing with this theory.

I mean practically speaking how is a brain being frozen supposed to enlighten said brain?

This is a great example of how doctors really don't know EVERYTHING ....now they are the ones getting mystic.
