I guess that people today don't realize that a knife can cut a finger or hand. I doubt that reading a label will help them.
My grandmother had a knack for shucking oysters. She always wore a thick rubber glove on her left hand, and used her shucking knife in her right hand. She could keep up with a half dozen kids eating them on the half shell, and still drop a few into a bowl for stew.
Those were the good ole days. My doctor won't let me eat them raw anymore. I'm thinking about changing doctors, but I can't find one who will agree with me.
