All I can say is that if a couple is making a half mil a year and they're "scraping by" they need to learn to budget, prioritize, and lose the entitlement. That sum of money is ten times the national median income.

Ummm if they have trouble they have a big problem. I could use a quarter of that and live like a queen. Good grief. The more you make the more you spend.. but someone needs a budget.

This couple lives in NYC. The property taxes there are more than my annual income.

So you call this your free county, then tell me why it costs so much to live.

Prices are way too high in America, for it appears as if all they care about is heaping as much money as they can to themselves.

Business having higher prices, lower quantity, and less quality, and ripping, and gipping, the very people that made them rich.

God said they are unthankful, and unholy, and this generation will devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men,and they are greedy dogs that can never have enough.

They have money piled high, and heap it in a ludicrous fashion, and there are people that are barely making it,and they still got to have high prices, and charge as much money as they can possibly get away with.

God said do not have a deceitful balance, and their prices are not fair, but they do not care, but want to bleed you dry of your money.

It is legalized thievery.

That is the purpose of America,to bleed you dry of your money, and leave you out on the street, and your 6 children, and spouse.

Their attitude is this.A person is homeless, and has not eaten anything for 5 days, and he comes across a garbage can.He will go through the garbage can frantically searching for something to eat.Perhaps a half eaten donut,a pack of ketchup,a little mountain dew in a bottle.Anything to put in his belly, lest he perish.

That is the attitude of these jeepers, creepers, the big money heapers, that even though they have millions of dollars, billions of dollars, they still have the attitude of frantically going through the garbage can,as if they have not eaten for 5 days,in search for money,as if they starving.

While it's true that everything we own is already paid for, we live very comfortably on 6% of that amount.

Hilarious. Like when years ago Latrell Sprewell of the NBA was complaining during a contract negotiation that the team was being tough in the talks and he HAD to max out, squeeze that last 2 million from the team because he needed to feed his kids.

Most of SoCal is expensive to live in - but in most areas here, $500k is a far cry from "scraping by".

I have a grandmother that has a paradigm of scarcity, and yet she has a newer car than most everyone else in the family and tends to take more vacations than anyone; a lot of people living paycheck to paycheck either have little to no financial education, or they don't live within their means.

With the cuts I could make to their budget they could make US upper middle class again. lol

(I really could easily cut $70,000 off their budget. More, since I'd use that for a few years -- plus their spare change -- to pay off their student loans faster. Honestly, I could cut $90,000 off their budget, but I would be stuck hearing them whine nonstop.)

How does that compare to where we live? Middle-class is somewhere between $70,000 and $150,000 in Philly, and we live in one of the worst areas for COL in the country.

I'm chuckling here that God says America is "unthankful, and unholy, and this generation will devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men,and they are greedy dogs that can never have enough."

What's it like to get God to give you his own words personally?

Like I said it's relative to the individual, maybe Spree's kid's have a daily diet of prime rib and lobster,it is his money because he earned it.

NBA players are the greatest athletes in the world, that's why they get played so much.
