Local doctors report great results in preventing cancer recurrence and are able to save children who would not survive the malignant disease two years ago.

A year ago, the Brno child's oncologists announced that they had developed a vaccine that deliberately kills the tumor and does not hurt as chemotherapy. They already have tangible evidence that this new treatment really works.

However, a special vaccine can not only destroy tumors, it can also contribute to long-term prevention of their recurrence. According to scientists, the substance remains in the patient's body for several years and is able to defend the body from further cancer.

Immunotherapy is also good in the treatment of adults, but it is not yet possible to rely on it.

the work is being done by a team led by dr. Jaroslav Šterba.
here's some of their research on pubmed ((technical, and from 2012, but in English)):

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22489700
Is it the same research? The article says the vaccine was developed a year ago, the research you posted is from 2012.

There are many anti-cancer research centers in CZ, so I do not know...

I thought the article mentioned they had been working at this for quite a while.. so I searched pubmed for research under his name and that's just the most recent thing I found. Through my University I have access to the docs but I don't know if you can see them; often if you access pubmed through a library they have a membership.

I wonder if there's a European equivalent research website? Cuz maybe they are publishing in another language, as pubmed is *mostly* English.
