The Vatican has removed all doubt about what the pope means by unity. In a document released July 10, the Roman Catholic Institution again claimed that there is no salvation outside the "church."

Pope says, "If it's not Catholic...
it's not really a church."

"Christ established here on earth only one church," the document states. Churches that do not recognize the "primacy of the pope…cannot be called 'churches' in the proper sense," and therefore lack the "means of salvation."

Careful study of Vatican pronouncements over the centuries shows this constant theme. During the Reformation, Rome used the inquisition to try to squash the revolt against its control. Anyone who refused to recognize Roman Catholicism as the only true church or bow to the wafer god was executed.

A change of tactics

Since that didn't work, they changed tactics during the 20th century. The new strategy was subtle wooing instead of extermination. Using a new Vatican Ecumenical Council known as "Vatican II" they began to claim that Catholicism was "just another denomination" having just a "different worship tradition."

Many protestants began to look only at the sheep-like clothing, ignoring the wolf inside. Catholics began to use terms familiar to Bible believers such as born again and "receiving Jesus." Some even began praying in tongues (sometimes to the Virgin Mary) and were welcomed into the Charismatic movement.

The deception was uncovered by looking carefully at the Catholic definition of these terms. For example, for a Catholic to "receive Jesus," it means to have his "Jesus" placed on his tongue, chewed and swallowed. This occurs after the ordained priest performs the ritual to change the wheat wafer into the "body, blood and divinity" of Jesus.

The words have different meanings

As you can see, the phrase "receive Jesus" has two entirely different meanings for the Protestant and the Roman Catholic. Yet the gullible Protestant is led to believe that Catholic is, therefore, "born again." On the basis of this deception, millions of Protestants have stopped witnessing to the lost Catholics, believing somehow that they are saved.

This recent document was simply a restatement of one issued in 2000. Yet, Protestants took that one in stride and continued "dialog" with the Vatican, thinking that eventually it would lead to a truly biblical unity.

And this document reasserts that the pope is "committed to ecumenical dialogue" in spite of its harsh tone. This is important to the pope, because this dialogue continues to promote the confusion that Catholics are saved, keeping soul winners from witnessing to them.

But anyone who looks beneath the fluffy wool coat will see that the wolf has not changed. Pronouncements such as these state clearly that any unity will be on the pope's terms. When he talks about the "primacy of the pope," he means accepting the pope as Christ's representative on earth. Catholics call this the "Apostolic Succession," that Jesus made Peter the first pope to be His representative, and each succeeding pope is Christ's "vicar" (like a vice president) in charge of the church on earth.

Paul told the Corinthians to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Instead of unity with the Catholics, we need to recognize that the pope is a false priest promoting worship to their wafer god who is not the same as our Saviour. As Bible believers, we need to lovingly show them the danger they are in by belonging to the prostitute church condemned in Rev. 17-19.

i think its the point of denominations, all of them think on some level " thier the true church" such as catholics, mormons, protestants, baptists ect.... its what caused the split. " we have the true spirit" " nope only we do" naw your crazy heretics, we have the truth"......<<<< confusion caused by the men secretly introduced in the days of peter and paul. satan fears a unified body of Christ on earth, who would simply Let Christ be the head of the church, and let go of the humanism that causes denominations to begin with.

i expect some of all denominations to end up together in the end, many catholics dont adhere to the pope, they just follow the gospel, like some from all the denominations do. im pretty sure God doesnt have an exclusive denomination, thats my own belief ive met godly men from many different denominations, and learned from all of them. didnt always agree here n there, bit thier fruit was evident and thier words were all focused on the right doctrines.

Pray for catholics to turn away from the church and it's false doctrine. When the pope said practically all religions serve the same God that should've brought up a red flag. Not to mean how he said he'd baptize aliens in which we all know are demons.

I don't understand how people can read the Bible, yet maintain that a religion that promotes the worship of saints leads to God. Yes, saints were honored in the Bible, but never prayed to! Talking to the dead is necromancy!

You are absolutely right, its just opening a doorway to the darkside.

Do you know who were probably the first missionaries to go to the darkest most remote places on earth? It was (probably) the catholics.

They went to the most remote places on the planet where actual devil worship was and is still practiced....maybe they brought something back with them, real devil worshippers that admit what they are use catholic symbols in their rituals.

Some that dont admit to being devil worshippers do it also.

The mafia burns images of catholic saints as part of a initiation ritual proving that their belief is above God.

The south american drug cartels also use catholicism but in different ways.

These are the most prosperis criminal organizations in the world and they are both catholic.

Thank God I escaped the bondage of Roman Catholicism several years ago! The true Church is the body of Christ, which is made up of all born again Christians/Believers and is not simply the Roman Catholic institution.

I am amazed how people cannot see the true nature of the Catholic church. All the evidence is there but people want to remain blind. This church is nothing more than criminal organisation with a religious front..something like the mafia.
May God open the eyes of the spiritually blind.

The very very sad thing is that many catholics dont even know or believe what was/is done in Gods name by their church, from what i understand some church officials tell them that all of the bad stuf that is said about the church is lies and they believe that.

Like all of the torture and murder that theyve done over the 1000's of years, all those child rape cases from all over the world, none of that happened according to them.

Like the idiots that say that the holocoust didnt happen, its the same thing.

I say that it is sad because i believe that many of these people arent evil individuals....i dont know why they believe what they do.
