What she did was despicable and she should be punished. What is a fitting punishment, I don't know. But God only set the death penalty for certain cases and, even in those cases, the Bible records Him as showing mercy for those who repent. Telling people to kill themselves wasn't one of those cases. Now, from what I can gather of the case, she badgered him into it, to the point where it could be considered manslaughter or even some degree of murder, but since the Bible doesn't (to my knowledge) set grounds for the barriers between harassment/bullying and murder, we don't know for sure how God would view it. Ultimately, the man killed himself. He probably had limited understanding at the time and wasn't thinking clearly and she obviously manipulated him, but there's only so much a person can be responsible for another's actions.
Maybe she'll repent and become a paster.

That's what he gets for making an idol out of this girl... the devil had a field day with this deal.

Not exactly... this girl will get hers in the end if she does not get born again and actually walks with the Lord

Romans 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Meanwhile... the justice system the Lord put in to place is supposed to punish her for her crime...

Romans 13:4
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

How much "understanding" does one need to know one should ignore any bimbo that says "you should go ahead and kill yerself"???

I knew better than this when I was 5 and would have told her to mind her own beeswax!

Yeah, the girl is no good... but people need to quit letting others push them around.

Just cause somebody says something certainly does mean I'm supposed to do what they say or even taken them seriously.

We should always listen to the Lord first and He's always going to point us to His Word... that which He has already said!
She probably made a idol of herself, thats just the nature of females today, they dress themselves up in a way that they HAVE to be noticed.

Thats not the worst part.

Then they get together with a group of friends literally hunting guys down then force themselves on them(not unlike organized religion).

Sure he was legally a man but realistically he was probably still a kid with no life experience.

Anyone that cannot figure out when someone is against them and not for them... is slow.

I don't believe that,at 18 yrs old not only is a individual ignorant due to lack of real world life experience but they still have hormones going crazy on them and that effects their thinking.

Females see this at a young age and learn how to exploit it.

I just saw a article saying that females are stronger be then men which is be probably true but it's not stronger in a good way.

They have quick minds for opportunity which lends itself to deception, that's why they are so good at it.

I know that I sound like a woman hater but I am not l just have awareness.

They probably are the way that they are due to circumstances.

It's our fault as men really because countless generations ago we made them objects be of sex and work, servants really, and the only way for them to get any personal gratification is with deception.

It's gotten so bad in fact that the deception in itself gives them satisfaction.

This probably another factor in what God is doing now.

Because girls never experience crazy hormones
we can't excuse any of it and blame one factor to both of their poor choices.
Also, there are plenty of men with quick minds towards deception.
Let's all blame the woman only and let the man off scott free. NOT REALLY.
How about we expect ALL people to take responsiblity for their actions and not say who is worse than the other or say sex or hormones are to blame?

Both sides are equally as bad as the other. No one is righteous.

The problem with that is that it will never happen.

Even us Christians who are supposed to set an example for God's advice find excuses to not take responsibility, some do it with years of deciphering God's word.

We says "it wasn't me it was Satan" that's what we came up with after thousands of years of studying God's word.

And I didn't mean that chicks don't have hormone issues...come on... I was just saying that all people at 18 yrs are exceptional in that they are still developing.

No one is responsible for another person's suicide. In order for a person to commit suicide, the person has to be mentally ill. No matter how much the girl urged the guy, he had to be mentally ill (severely depressed) in order to commit suicide at all.

I don't mean she is a great person, or kind, or compassionate. She obviously is not, to urge someone to do such a thing. But ultimately, the person committing suicide is the one responsible.

Here's a gruesome anecdote from my childhood, when I was a kid, we rode the bus home to my friend's house. There were two kids that also lived down the street. Nice kids, one girl and one boy. One day, they walked home from the bus stop and saw their father hanging in a tree in their front yard. Their mother had left their father to be with another man. You could say that the man's wife's actions "caused" him to commit suicide. But ultimately, it was his selfish decision to do away with himself- and it must have been born of mental illness for him not to consider that his young children would be the ones who found him. I hope he got saved before going through with it.

I often wonder if his kids blamed themselves. No one is responsible, maybe not even the person committing suicide is responsible. Let's blame it on the real culprit, severe mental illness.

No that is entirely different.

This guy was taking advice from her to specifically kill himself and she specifically said to do it.

It wasn't just a flippant comment either, she urged him to do it.

She told him that it is the right thing to do, I believe that he even changed his mind and she told him to get back in the truck.

But like I said,in today's world she'll get off then become a paster LOL.

It's amazing the coldness and indifference professing believers are displaying here concerning the story in this thread.

Wow.

Which one of you weak-willed people will respond because they have no choice when I say to send me $300,000?

I don't mind repeating the request if you need further persuasion.

I know, but let's say a man urged me to kill myself. If I went through with it, it would have to be due to severe mental illness. No one can make another person commit suicide. I understand she urged him. This is evil, but he is still the one who took his own life.

If she becomes a paster, I hope she does a good job gluing things.

I don't believe that
Well, you believe wrong... at that age they have certainly passed the age of accountability before the Lord and they are responsible for sin in their lives and will go to hell if they do not get born again and actually walk with the Lord (remain in right relationship with Him not backsliding back in to sinful lifestyles)...

So yeah, he should know better than to let some 2 bit bimbo tell him to kill himself and then do it... the fella was slow!

Iknew better than to do this when I was in kindergarten!

It's our fault as men really because countless generations ago we made them objects be of sex and work, servants
I wasn't around centuries ago so none of that applies to me.

Because girls never experience crazy hormones
Yeah, 'bout every 30 days

This is not about being righteous... it's about having enough common sense to ignore someone when they tell you to off yerself.

Let's be honest here, this guy was slow.

No one is responsible for another person's suicide
That's not necessarily true legally speaking as we will see this girl convicted of at least manslaughter maybe more.

You watch... they gonna send her to the pokie for a few years to think about what she did and rightfully so... she's a very poor human being!

Maybe she'll come in contact with a jail house Christian ministry and get born again during her visit to the big house bunking with Big Burtha ...

Do you know what? especially if he was "slow" this was very very wrong.

Telling a mentally disabled person to kill themselves?...are you freaking kidding me?
