Did you fail to read what the Lord said about destroying your own body?

I have nothing to do with this, it's the Lord Who judges based on what He already said so when someone is repeating what God says... it's not them judging, it's God's Word that is judging.

That's exactly what they are doing is claiming it's OK to commit suicide and no worries you will not go to hell... so go ahead and pull the trigger!

This is very highly irresponsible and makes a mockery of God's Word.

Well, you are ugly and yo momma dresses you funny.

Am I supposed to be scared er something???

Tell me more...

Those of you who choose to not pay attention to what God has said... are clearly the ignorant ones, willingly ignorant which is worse than the normal variety of ignorance.
For the suicide of the man nothing can be done
Sure it is sad even as David wept for Saul who took his life by his own hand
But remember in the paraphrase Samuel told him
"Tomorrow you will be with me"
So what of this girl in the story?
Does this mean she is the Philistine?
I get you, you just don't want them to die
But we have to remember we're judging for the Lord
In this case and story we must not be hasty but must first explore
The case is not so much the issue of suicide itself
For by no means can we summon the boy to court
However, his action now has an implication
For one of the living, a woman he thought he loved
Would he want her sent to prison or worse?
Or would he rather die? I think we know the dark truth
True, in America you can say what you want
Your suicide is not my problem no matter what
However, let's note this girl isn't the virgin Mary
She's a maneater
The kind like Nelly Furtado, not Hall and Oates
Watch the music video, and indeed you can see the flames
But rather than playing the dragon's game
And laying the blames
And mentally trying to avenge the slain
There has to be a way in Jesus to save
And maybe that cannot be done in this particular case
But how in the bigger picture can we tackle together rather some of the more common themes?

By NOT advocating suicide that's how and by NOT excusing those that assist suicide...this is really a no-brainer.

Why are so many people here willing to excuse this monster for what she did?

You know if it was reversed and it was a man encouraging a woman to commit suicide the entire world would be after him with pitch forks and torches.

You people are so screwed up.

You are obviously a product of today's society and you all are probably going where it's going as soon as God shows up.

Because she has sex with lots of people she should be able to do whatever she wants?

Even talk a guy into killing himself?

Maybe this article will help you understand just how depraved that some have become in enticing young people to commit suicide.

So then why not "get saved" and just kill ourselves?
Because it is against Gods will for me to murder myself..I agree with and trust in Gods standard that murder is wrong.. Not sure why you are asking this question,,

THAT is the flaw in once saved always saved.
I am not a supporter of once saved always saved. I believe that people can fall away from believing Jesus and trusting in the atonement He secured for their eternal salvation..

It leaves room for ANY sin to be committed. Murder of self, murder of others, etc.
If there is no allowance for a person to sin then you me and everyone else in this forum are wasting their time being Christian because everyone sins and thus according to you everyone is condemned.. Because as you are saying there is no room to sin in your version of religion...

If we are saved, what are we saved from? the punishment for committing sin and sin is the breaking of God's laws.
Amen.. We are saved from the punishment that is upon us for sinning.. But if it is as you suggest that there should be no room for ANY sin.. Then i guess there can only be forgivenness for sins commited before we become saved so all sins commited after we are saved are not forgiven and thus the only people who will be saved are people who die a moment after they have accepted jesus as their LORD and Redeemer?

Repentance is the turning away from sin. God won't have sin, and people who unrepentantly sin, around Him.
If your last act is murder of self, guarenteed you didn't repent and turn from the sin.
What is """Turning away from sin""" your definition please ?

After that, I cannot say what God's decision is. Only that sinner do not inherit the kingdom.
So if sinners don't inherit the Kingdom then you are damned to the lake of fire, right... Are you claiming to be without sin?

You sound like one of those people that are proud to sin because you are so sure that God will forgive you over and over again.

Or you are one of those people that thinks that every tiny uncontrollable thing is a sin, like not praying everyday.

I can't decide which is worse.

Practically speaking it's not difficult for a adult to live by God's word, their really are people that do this every single day... seriously.

No I'm not a universalist whatever that is, I'm just a practical Christian, not a gang banger that believes that one has to be jumped into the gang in order to be in God's good graces.

I believe that God only wants us to live positive productive lives if we are part of society,in other words we have to contribute positively to society if you are going to partake in it.

Most Christians are nothing but gang bangers making their gangs(churches) richer than the gang(church) on the next block.

Most don't even live by His word.

Alrighty then, so when Jesus said one must be born again to enter into God's Kingdom... you believe He was lying about this?

That's nice and lovely and all dat... but that cannot possibly get you to Heaven.

That ain't nuthin but good works.

So, you have not been born again???

Most don't even live by His word.
And you don't either, right? I mean, ya gotta do what'cha can to fit in to the gang bangin lifestyle right?
