Not everyone is going to share your values. Live and Let Live. It's not a hard concept.
America was founded on freedom. We are not a theocracy. It seems a lot of Christians basically want the Christian version of sharia
There is no Christian version of sharia. We are not taught to murder gays.

America was founded on Christian principles.

I'm a Christian who doesn't use my religion to violate people's constitutional rights.
Most Christians have a massive persecution complex. No where in the Bible are we instructed to force our beliefs on others.
[h=1]Habakkuk 1:13New King James Version (NKJV)[/h] [SUP]13 [/SUP]You are of purer eyes than to behold evil,
And cannot look on wickedness.
Why do You look on those who deal treacherously,
And hold Your tongue when the wicked devours
A person more righteous than he?

nope.... that scripture does not instruct you to force your beliefs on anyone.
There is not a single scripture in the Bible and which we are instructed to force our beliefs on someone

America was founded on Christian principles.
You just want to strip them of their constitutional rights

Provided they have a permit from the city, they are within their rights to have their celebration.
So basically you think only Christians should have constitutional rights
Just because it's the Constitution that don't mean that it's ABSOLUTELY just.

There are many things wrong with it because it's the law of man not of God.

And homosexuality isn't the only sexual deviance ANY sexual act committed amongst 2 people outside of the institution of marriage deviates from God's plan for us.

Domestic violence is a major factor in attack on the structural integrity of the foundation of the world society.

DV is usually done because 2 people don't have the love for each other that they should.

It's disgusting that many Christians will talk about gays being terrible then go and screw their coworkers and neighbors like it's perfectly ok.

When you release your tongue and speak against their beliefs, you do this on the authority and convictions of your own beliefs. The content of what you say is your beliefs.

I was so proud of my pastor last week and you would have been too, Willie, as he preached on the list of sins in 1 Peter 1, and made a prolonged plea not to treat the homosexual any differently than any other sinner.
Here is proof to the contrary of what you want to believe in your delusion, Dude, and promote with your dishonesty.

1. Marriage predates Christianity
2. The founding fathers were deists
3. Domestic violence is non sequitur as it has nothing to do with this topic
4. You assume that only Christians are capable of love

Are you a Sodomite?

The wickedness of Sodom ([Ex 20:14]
heterosexual [Lev. 20:10–12] or homosexual [Lev. 20:10,13]) was notorious (Gen. 13:13).

Uhh, correct me if Im wrong but this is about the White House hosting the event and not just about a gay pride parade?

I mean, I didnt see anything about stopping a gay pride parade, but just an opinion being the White House should focus on other issues other than a gay pride parade.

Did you not see that part, or are you just attacking Christians again?

[Pentagon continues LGBT pride celebration; conservatives say it’s a shame in Trump administration by Rowan Scarborough | The Washington Times] "Conservative activists are expressing disappointment that the Trump administration is continuing President Obama’s sexual revolution agenda for the military by, among other moves, hosting an LGBT pride celebration on Monday at the Pentagon.

Just wanted to post that, in case anyone actually believed that this thread was "lets take away gays rights", as Dude often claims we do.

More falsehoods from you. Do your homework! You are embarrassing yourself (if you have a conscience, that is. I have seen no evidence for one...).

Sodomites have the right to obey.

See:

Theology Thursday: The Bible's Criminal Code by Bob Enyart
I dont support homosexuality in any way, and Im a strong advocate of abstinence, being someone who knows the issue personally. But I dont believe in forcing others to follow the Word of God. They have to make the choice themselves.

I believe Christians should have the right to say wrong is wrong, just as the homosexual community should have its right to practice whatever lifestyle they want. But I dont think we should force them to be Christian.

Sadly though, Dude has accused me of that here on the site multiple times. He likes to trap Christians to make them into villains-

So you think we should kill gays?

Then you are ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Ro 1:16).

[h=1][/h]Romas 1:16- 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Uhhh, the Gospel is that Jesus died for our sins, that whoever believes in Him will be saved. It has nothing to do with enforcing laws on anyone o_O

Are you really a Christian? Cuz you kinda put off some undercover "Im gonna expose them for who they really are" kinda trolls. Hate to sound mean but youre on a pretty hard crusade here >.>

Revelation 22:11 11Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy."

I would say the founding fathers, Jefferson at the very least, was an occultist/devil worshiper based off of the bible he tried to pass off. Evil men who wanted nothing but earthly power and control, and saw religion as an enemy to their goals and something to manipulate the people with. Or at the very best you could call him an atheist/unbeliever in Christ.

I feel sorry for the gay people. I've seen so many of them beaten senseless in back alleys, in hotel rooms, in homes, in cars. Sometimes they're dressed like ladies, and I'm thinking to myself what kind of evil are making humans treat other humans like dirt? It's so heartbreaking to see a grown man dressed like a lady beaten to death...I don't cry often...but crime scenes like that are bad.

I agree with you, but I kinda feel the need to point out that wasnt really the topic of the OP. It was about people being unhappy with the white house for funding a gay pride parade when it could do something more practical and meaningful.

No one said dont let the homosexual community have their parades. Some may believe that but it wasnt in the OP.
