But don't you get it? The EU have to set an example, so no-one else follows suite. And we have a stupid moronic Conservative government who are doing the deal so it is going to be bad. Who did you vote for?

God told me who to vote for, as he did anyone with a heart in this heartless selfish country that wants to blame immigration on it's problems. Of course that is because people are easily deluded by fear.

Do you know how much money is thought to be stored in offshore tax havens? £20 trillion. Imagine what we could do with just £1 trillion. When you have a government that puts profits first, you have a declining rate of living standards, of 'free' services (they would prefer people die from not having medical insurance like in the USA), and you get Grenfell Tower, and also, which has been proved statistically, more terrorism under a Tory government.

I love my country, I don't want it to be taken over by elites to the point of no return, like America. No-one has a choice who to vote for in America, they are always the same, they put profits first. Profits and war, and even American people, many of those here, have bloodlust for war and violence, which is pretty apparent by their 'need' for gun rights rather than God being the weapon they carry, and the brutality of their police is a symptom of that.
Now you've opened a can of worms!

Did folks read the link I posted earlier.

We've got to the point where the benefit to staying in the EU, no longer
out weighs the risks of leaving. Other countries will come to realise it too,
some are already thinking about leaving. That's why a successful Brexit
scares people.

Terriosts from non EU countries we can deport. Rapists and terriosts
from the EU, we can't.

EU rules stopped Britain deporting murderers, rapists and violent criminals

Murderers, rapists and violent offenders from across Europe have
been able to remain in Britain after their crimes, the Justice Minister
will say on Tuesday as he reveals a dossier of 50 offenders who have
used EU rules to avoid deportation.

Dominic Raab, who works closely with Michael Gove in the Justice
department, said that British families are “at risk” because European
courts are refusing to allow UK judges to deport dangerous and
violent criminals back to EU countries.

Mr Raab has compiled a dossier of the 50 most serious offenders
who have been allowed to remain in the UK because of Brussels
red tape. As justice minister, Mr Raab has had first-hand experience
of many of the cases the UK has seen thwarted.

His dossier includes an Italian man who stabbed a head teacher through
the heart, a Polish woman who kicked her husband to death and
a Romanian rapist who was given permanent residence in this country
under the orders of the EU.

Mr Raab said: “This is yet more evidence of how EU membership makes
us less safe. Free movement of people allows unelected judges in the
rogue European Court to decide who we can and can't deport. This puts
British families at risk.”

The list of offenders will fuel claims that Britain is hamstrung by EU freedom
of movement rules and will only be able to deport violent convicts
if the country backs a Brexit on June 23.

A report last week warned that 5,789 criminals from overseas are free
to walk the UK's streets - the highest number since 2012 – because they
are protected under EU human rights laws.

Mr Gove on Monday warned that the EU’s lack of border controls on the
continent “actively abets terrorism”.

"One of the things that we can do if we else the European Union
is control our borders and also control who we deport,” Mr Gove said.

“At the moment, unfortunately, the European law, which the European
Court of Justice takes, has prevented us from getting rid of some people
who are terrorists, or criminals who have been supporting terrorists.”

Under current British law, any foreigner who commits a “serious crime”
or is sentenced to more than a year in jail qualifies for automatic deportation.

However if the convict is from the EU, that rule can be meaningless because
of the bloc’s “freedom of movement” rules that allow migrants to live and
work in any member state.

Research released by the Leave campaign has identified 50 cases – most
occurring under Mr Cameron’s premiership – when attempts at deportation
where blocked by EU law.

OK I'll answer your post as best I can...

Yes of course I prayed before voting, in the days leading up to it and as I cast my vote. I did vote Conservative - with reservations, they are not perfect - far from it but they were the better of the 2 who likely would win. I wouldn't trust Corbin as far as I could throw him, his past is dubious and the labour party have antisemitic leanings - do you think God would want me to vote for them??? He avoids answering important questions about our country's defence which frankly scares me! Also Corbin was making promises that would have plunged us further into debt. He was basically sucking up to the youth for their vote and even now he is still trying to be "hip" at Glastonbury. As I said, the Conservatives are far from perfect but Theresa May has a good record for negotiating and I thought her the best candidate to go into talks with the EU. Corbin and May were both remainers but I don't think May's heart was in remaining from the beginning. Jeremy Corbin is too willing to please to be a tough negotiator he would have just handed everything over. Just my thoughts...

The European Courts of Human Rights is the most abused system in Europe, it was set up with the best of intentions but has been abused and used for all the wrong reasons...another beast we could not tame.

Here is another fact. The UK prison population rose dramatically when certain
EU countries joined the EU. There has been several documentaries on TV about it.
Unfortunately not all countries realise things like shop lifting and theft are criminal
chargeable offences.

There was a documentary a short while ago, this focused on Romanians. (But others
have been about different countries).
It said that in Romania people turn a blind eye to shop lifting, so people come
to the UK, think shop lifting is ok and are in for a shock when they get caught and
hauled to the courts.

The police had to draft in loads of Romanian interpreters as there has been so many
arrests for shop lifting in certain cities. Even the interpreters were saying they felt
shamed by their own country man.

Nonsense.

The example of multiculturalism are the USA, not EU. All EU countries have similar history, culture, religion etc.

I am not sure how you from the USA can judge what is or is not a failure for us, the EU citizens. Its like me talking about your internal problems with black quarters in the US cities and acting like I know better than you...

For me, its absolutely perfect to travel to Germany, Austria or wherever I want without any border control and without any need to get a passport. Not a failure.
America is an amalgamation of diverse cultures melding into one, with it's roots deeply entrenched in Judeo-Christian values.
E. Pluribus unum. Look it up. That's the primary reason we don't want most muslim refugees or immigrants. THEY DO NOT WANT TO ASSIMILATE INTO OUR CULTURE!!

Your ignorance is astounding, yet understandable in regards to "black quarters". Understandable because most of Europe is fed ONLY state media, and any diversion from that is hounded down under the HUGE fascist umbrella term of "hate speech".

America and Britain has saved your continent TWICE in the last century from Orwellian dictatorship with blood and treasure. We have spent untold billions defending your continent with scant economic help from you, from Soviet/Russian aggression, for 65+ yrs, enabling funds for you to enact your utopian socialist dream. (really a nightmare). Where the heck is your gratitude!?

So don't tell me we don't have a stake or say in what goes on in your continent. It's like a teen son saying "Let me live my life MY WAY, and oh by the way, can you give me $100 bucks and lend me the car?"

Pretty insulting huh?

And yet ALL of this has nothing to do with fair trade agreements!

This is so true, if it were not for the internet we'd be all brainwashed by the loony left by now. The BBC and most of the mainstream media has been lost to leftist thinking and political correctness. We are not expected to challenge anything and are largely silenced by the political correctness rule. The only things is...people like me are bloody-minded and will not conform, I don't like and have never liked being told what to do. God is the only one I answer to. although I'd answer to my husband if he were a godly man - he isn't! LOL!!!

Just wanted to say, that I have absolutely no problem with people from EU
countries coming to the UK for the right reasons.

Its why we need to get out of the EU, so that imigrants from any nation come for
the right reasons. We should be able to police our own borders, but the EU
does not let member states do that, so people come for all the wrong reasons too.

I just wanted to add this because I'm not racist or biased against any countries but a line
has to be drawn when it is blatant for all to see, that a significant number of EU
migrants come with dishonourable motives.

If people had more respect for countries they go to and if the EU had common sense
legislation, we would not be in this position, Brexit would not have happened.

I would also say the same of Brits who go abroad, they should behave themselves too
and other countries should have the right to throw any UK migrants out who misbehave
or don't respect the country they go to and who try to play the system.

True, but at least it would be individual elected government making the decision. Who will
get voted out if they mess up.

Rather than unelected faceless people in Brussels who are in positions for ever more,
not to mention the European Courts, who are they? I have no idea, or how they even get
their jobs.

Well according to the ancestry websites and as up to date as they are, mums married name.
goes back to 1538. Grandparents goes back to 1678.

Hi your welcome to call yourself a fellow Brit any time. Lol

According to Genesis, we all originated from the Middle East, (I just kept the sun tan):D
Wow! That means some of my ancestors lived in the same land some of your ancestors lived in.

One of the funny things that happens often in the US is someone says something like, "I was in the Navy." And then the other person answers, "My uncle was in the Navy. Do you know ____? (And then they give the uncle's name.) If I had a clue of the actual names of my ancestors, I'd ask you if you knew them. lol

I'll tell you why they are upset Lynn, because after Germany Britain are the biggest financial contributors. Oh I'm under no illusions, they don't give a damn that we're going but they do very much give a damn that we're withdrawing our funds along with it - it's why they want £billions in compensation. It's a good thing I'm not negotiating because they wouldn't get a penny from me for they've already had more than enough from us.
Why is that a good thing you're not negotiating? Seems like a good reason for you to be the negotiator.

Personally, I'd just cut the ties without negotiating. Again, what can anyone do to you if you just walk? Not trade? Well, okay. That leaves the other 150+ countries you can trade with. I think I might miss olive oil for a while, but I know some industrious person will black market olive oil in England, if need be. I'm not sure if BP is as big in Europe as it is here, however, if it is, I think petrol is a good reason to not embargo the olive oil.

Frankly, we're from the country who left England because we didn't like that trade deal either. And that's how coffee, chicory, and rum won out on tea!

Seriously, what happens if y'all just walk, instead of negotiate? What I really imagine is they return to the table as the beggar instead of thinking they're the king.

Im always surprised by how many people who say they have Irish ancestors.
The Irish must rule the world. Ha ha
