The real test for this new organization will be what the AG has to say Friday, and whether the AG is allowed to take questions from the press. I would recommend that the president and the press office read the transcript before it the speech, and that the press office handle any communications from the president and the AG. I am not happy he is President, but I am also intelligent enough to realize that he is better than Hillary would have been. I wonder if any of our Christian friends here are TRULY happy with the "lesser of two evils?"

To say that I am "happy" with some of the personal failings of President Trump, would be silly.
To say am I "happy" with what has been accomplished and what he is trying to accomplish would be a VAST understatement. In this regard, I believe he even exceeds President Reagan.
Do I wish Trump was personally as white as the wind-driven snow? Sure.
Kinda like I could wish King David didn't murder a guy to steal his wife and then repeatedly commit adultery.

I feel compelled to respond to this.
Do not mourn our passing. I think one of two things will happen (and I'm an insider). Either a new, more authentic GOP will rise from the State parties and through the ashes of the national party. Or the two major parties will fold and you'll get a bunch of competing and interacting parties only without the freaky-deeky parliamentary coalition governments.
Conservatism is very much alive here in the US of A, we're just having something on identity crisis we have to mature through. For as ridiculous as Trump is, the Social Justice types are more ridiculous.
As I see it now, both ideologies are really at parity in long-term potential and both parties suffer from similar internal fractures.
What happens is in God's hands. We'll just proceed in the right as he has allowed us to see it, to paraphrase President Lincoln.
